A few years ago I made a pen by welding metal nuts together. This time I'm using brass nuts and soldering them together instead of welding. The result is a pen that looks fantastic!

You should make one where the nuts form a spiral shape all the way up. Twist each nut in one direction just a little more than the previous one. Not only would it look cool, you would end up with a nut torsion.
I was thinking the same thing, feel like it would look really cool
That would be better for my ocd.
Pen is nuts.
Thank you all, I couldn't have done it without you, I'll be awaiting my award in the mail.
I enjoy these random videos mixed in to the big projects. Thanks for the content.
The amount of nut jokes in this video makes me appreciate this channel so much more now. 🤣
Yessiirrr
04:15 I know these types of jokes take awhile to edit in compared to your normal style but when I tell you I laughed.... it’s worth the wait for that extra flair if you wanna do this more often
Man! So many references lol, although Idk what I was expecting from a nut pen
Great project! Those pens really do look unique.
In case you're wondering why the soldering didn't work the first time it's because you overheated the nuts and let the flux burn off. Solder won't stick if the surface is too cold or too hot.
Also, you could use acid to remove oxides rather than abrasives. Even something mundane like vinegar should do the trick. It certainly takes less effort than sanding every nut separately.
I too have these nuts that have been laying around a long time.
Im gonna go buy some and make my own now. I'd love to buy yours but it's too expensive for me right now. I've loved this idea but haven't figured out any ways that i can do it. But this is just awesome
How much did it sell for? Looked cool
the edited laughs at the moments he said nut cracked me up Jairus being sus ngl
Awesome! Love it - and from the look of the auction, I’m not the only one :)
Homie, I dunno if’n you need to hear/read this, but this video rocks. It’s goofy, but i dig it. Keep up the good work brosive stalin
Hope you can sell more of those, they took a lot of time and efford but they are awsome
I literally thought this was a good thing to put on eBay before you even said it in the video.
yes, get 1.99 from ebay for a bunch of nuts for 5.99 and tons of work
@@RAMB0DJOHN I went to art school…that’s how all of our projects worked lol
I actually like more the random one too
What?? "The seller does not accept returns."
😆 🤣 😂 just playing...
Making a pen from nuts? That's just nuts 😂
I like the case of the pen
What a brilliant commercial! I hope you bank well off the auction.
well its sitting at $250 so I'd say that's alright
That's nuts
This episode was funny!!
Do more like this!
I like how the first five seconds is an innuendo
You misspelled "11 minutes".
I thought it was spelled "in you end-O!"
Beginning of the video:
Me before orchiectomy
You can also buy pen kits online if you plan on doing more of these.
Plot twist, random pattern aligns perfectly lol
I'm extremely irritated with the "friends" I've dealt with today. I'm blocking them and trying to relax. Jairus of All is a good start.
Wonder how much it sold for
Go to model steam engine forums for all the advice you'll ever need on soldering brass/copper.
0:33 throw some what on it?
What temperature does the nut need to be to accept a weld with the solder? I'm wondering to see if this can have some mass production with a oven furnace or kiln setup.
Nice!!
I need this
I’ve got these nuts that have been laying around for a long time and they haven’t gotten any use.
7:05 eh... Patreon contest maybe?
Is he traveling middle earth? 😆
Nuts 😱
Proposal to rename this video:
"my pen is made from deez nuts"
penismadeofnuts.
An example of why spacing is important.
THE PEN IS NUTS
Spiral pattern
Nice nuts!
"I've got these nuts"
Brazing probably would've worked much better for this.
I can't be the only one who read the thumbnail wrong
6:07 you stole my comment/joke
Video is missing a NUT button
4 months late nice pen
when i was 5 i made the same bullshit, but then i grow up
Let’s just say that I did not read the title as “pens”
Or or hear me out hear me out you could just buy regular regular pens
Ngl, I may have mis read the title.
Didn't read it until now
You weren’t the only one
Very cool project, Never let it be said. That people can't find inventive ways to play with their nuts.. Yes, yes I know. I'll exit stage left even....
Lol Deez nuts
