- John is dissatisfied with himself because Sally finds him predictable. But as he tries to blame it on her ESP, he finds that everyone around him agrees: you can set your clock by John's activities. He thinks maybe doing something crazy like taking a skydive will break him out of that mold.

Annie found her date in Chicago at Doctor Hartley's office. 😂
Listen, Sally, you don't have to worry about sky diving. You're the Flying Nun. It's a stroll down the street for you.
Jerry has real "M.O.O.N. spells moon" energy.
I had such a huge crush on John Davidson! Also Jack Sheldon had a career in Jazz before he did acting and voice acting, but he's mostly known for Schoolhouse Rock.
John Davison is the last person who should be criticizing someone else's hairdo!
I actually remembered the brown suit on Thursday joke. The brain is an amazing thing.
I vaguely recall this show, and the few times I have thought of it, I have dismissed it as bland - primarily because it has John Davidson, who was a walking synonym for blandness.
The show also was during NBC’s white bread era, characterized by Bob Hope, Bonanza, Dinah Shore. (zzz)
These clips, however, show more depth than I would have figured. They deal with some real life stuff.
In this day of LGBTQ+++ awareness, "The Girl With Something Extra" could easily be misinterpreted...just sayin'...
This show (when it was on its mark) was so sweet! So was the end of this video with Hazel getting all that attention!
This was slightly before my time. Question: the hair. Even the women hair hairstyles similar to Luke Skywalker. Was that style THAT popular?
Yes! (I'm a guy---you should have seen mine in High School!)
Yes. Back then what you were "allowed" to wear and be considered "normal" or acceptable had a rather narrow range. As someone who was punk in high school just a few years after this, dressing even just slightly out of the norm would get you bullied, even physically attacked. I witnessed 2 different friends, one male and one female, both get attacked in public just for having different hair.
I just discovered this tv show and your channel. I enjoy your commentary. Thank you for posting these. It's also nice to see your love for animals. I have subscribed and will check out your other content. Greetings from Holland! What state do you live in/come from? Your accent is not one I am familiar with! My cat and dog say hello from across the pond too!
Thank you! And welcome to the Zoo!
For a short lived series, this show managed to get a lot of well known character actors in guest roles. Maybe it was the fact that the two stars were big name celebrities and it was a network series. I still find it odd that NBC kept this on the air for an entire season, despite disappointing ratings.
This was a good episode for John. The ESP was a little bit more incorporated even if it wasnt the focus
I luv John's highlights.
