Yeah, but what’s gonna happen now? In the end we traded a few Jedi, a force sensitive Mando, and a really really REALLY old droid for a lost frontier Jedi, and the smartest Empirical Warlord the empire ever had armed with an undead army that will keep going long after death. Don’t get me wrong though. I freaking loved it all, but the way it ended was such a tease. 😖

I'm glad Ezra made a blue lightsaber based off kanans lightsaber. Reminds me of how Luke built his based off Obi-Wans lightsaber and used a green crystal as a nod to Yoda!!!
This sets up Season 2 well. Plus, I can see the next series coming up (BoBa Fett, Madalorian)!

Seeing Baylon standing on an Argonath-like monument to the Mortis Gods makes me wonder if they are going to make Abeloth canon again?
Every moment was jaw dropping
well, there were the three statues of the Mortis gods, though the Daughter's head was missing, that right there led me to realize they were on that planet, and in that galaxy once, and the statue of the Father was pointing to a mountain with a pillar of light at the distance, so maybe, there's something there that can help Ahsoka and Sabine find their way back home.
The Nightsisters actually made their first appearance in the Caravan of Courage special, in 1984.
Unfortunately that is Legend, not Canon. Everything from before episode 7 is now put under Legend. so while it would be true that the Nightsisters showed up in Caravan of Courage, those are no longer part of the official Canon
By canon you mean Disney Star wars fanfic.
I don't care what they think is canon. Canon is what George Lucas created. Everything else is fan fiction.

I agree. As someone who hasn’t hugely watched Star Wars Rebels (that alone might be enough to draw criticism as well) I’m entertained by the series. Some fans, or “purists” are overly critical.
I'm glad Rebecca is doing this one. She's the voice I want to hear when talking about star wars.
Biggest and most important question: how did Thrawn and Ezra survive entering hyperspace in an open cockpit and what did they do when they first arrived at Peridia

I'm a little confused about the ending. Ahsoka and Sabine are still stuck out in the new galaxy. Are they gonna attempt to make it back? I ask because what did Ahsoka mean when she said "Ezra is where he needs to be and so are we?" That sounds like they may not come back. They just reunited with Ezra and now they're separated again. Surely they're coming back for the "Heir to the Empire movie" right?
I feel like Ashoka knew Ezra had to go back as he’s essential to defeating Thrawn. And everyone knew Ezra disappeared with Thrawn. Now that he’s back, they have proof of Thrawn’s threat. With regards to Ashoka and Sabine being stuck in Peridia, I feel like they won’t be stuck there for long. Especially Morai showed up and the Father and Son statues showed up at the end, there must be an access point to the World Between Worlds, and they can use that to get home. But that’s just my theory.
at the end of the final episode ashoka sees a baby gryphon owl which represents the Daughter of the gods of Mortis or the Light side, Balen is also seen standing on a statue that is the father of mortis, this likely means what Balen is looking for is the world between worlds, he did explain he is seeking a way to make things start anew... which felt either time travel or to obtain a power that would cause instability and Id say the world between worlds has this power over both life and death and moments in time... think of it this way the world between worlds could canonically reset the sequel trilogy or make the sequel trilogy make more sense, it could also hypothetically reset the entire timeline and canonically introduce us to KoToR Jedi and sith or even bring star killer to life and explain his more primordial force power. ezra may also meet grogu or luke and this could be the start of a reboot to the sequel trilogy

Where do I even start with questions???
1) How did Huyang survive Order 66? I would think that the Clones would try to destroy anyone or anything remotely related to the Jedi, especially one programmed to build and instruct others how to build a lightsaber!
2) Who or what exactly was Marrok? We never ever got confirmation about what he was, if he was a surviving Inquisitor or a zombie resurrected by Morgan Elsbeth.
3) What were Baylan’s plans or motivations? We know he wanted to end the cycle of war and violence from both sides, but what made him want to do this? It can’t just be Order 66, I feel like something very specific would’ve happened, like Reva watching the younglings die in front of her and playing dead all while facing fallen Anakin.
4) Where, when, and how did Baylan meet and train Shin? I can’t believe I didn’t think of that until writing this comment!

Quite possibly. "The Mandalorian" seemed to imply their way of life was almost a religious teaching, with Mandalorians worshiping weapons and combat instead of the Force. The fact that Mandalorian Force Sensitives are rare could be an allegory to conflicting religions.
Wrong that the Nightsisters first appeared in Clone Wars. They first appeared in the Legends novel "Courtship of Princess Leia" and the witch clans of Dathomir played a role in other Legends novels too.
There’s still one more question: what are baylan’s intentions?
Could be seeking out Abeloth, who’s connected to the Morris gods
Or if Sabine and Ezra would eventaully hook up in the future, when she and Ahsoka leave Peridea and return home? They left a lot build up to that relationship, so eventaully it needs to pay off somehow. Despite Ezra claiming Sabine is like a sister to him (or so he claims), there are indications that say otherwise, especially and ironically from Sabine's part, considering her actions seem extreme to the point of just friendship, she wants to be with him. I hope that will be the case at some point.

1. What is the true nature of Sabine and Ezra's relationship? Is it plantonic or romantc?
2. Will Ahsoka and Sabine intend to get off Peridea and return to the main galaxy?
3. How will Ezra (and to a greater extent Hera and Jacen) react when he discovers Sabine handed the map to Baylon Skoll, so she could find him.
4. Will Sabine face the consquences of her choice in relucantly bringing Thrawn back.
5. What will happen to Sabine if she comes back to the main galaxy, considering her actions led to Thrawn coming back to the main galaxy?
6. How will Sabine's choice effect Hera and the rest of the Ghost Crew (especially considering Senator Xiano could likely seize an oppurnity with Sabine's relucant role in bringing Thrawn back)?

I hope not. While the sequel trilogy had good moments, overall they were not good. Best to forget they happened.

At best, this series was OK. I had hoped for better but was prepared for worse because of Disney's track record. I loved seeing the Rebels characters translate so well to live action, but the storyline was still kind of weak and each episode had periods that got downright tedious when characters recite lines and then looked at each other for 30 seconds before responding.
Agreed, a lot of padding between lines and scenes. The Mandalorian has the same problem
The long pauses between lines were so odd. The actors looked bored most of the time.
If this series is "ok", then Obi Wan is the worst garbage ever made
@@Cestariarts actually the sequels were the worst garbage ever made, but - much as I enjoy Ewan McGregor - Obi Wan wasn't that far behind.

Kind of a lackluster ending imo, all that really happened is Morgan becoming a night sister then dies pretty soon after, the team reunion is good, and then the main villain who just barked orders and didn’t do too much got away. That’s just my opinion but overall the show was good, RIP Ray Stevenson.
Yeah bummer how they killed off Morgan after the upgrade lol With regards to Thrawn barking orders, he’s a tactician. That’s what he does.

This show was apparently meant to save Star Wars but it will be forgotten in a week. It was slow, boring and looked cheap. Lightsaber fights from 20 years ago looked better. Star Wars was once a multi billion dollar franchise where every film felt like an event even if the prequels were of questionable quality. The video games were really well made. Now it's relegated to a Disney+ show that very few watch. They now just have to rely on 'member berries. The video games now just copy the better video games and are released full of bugs.
