The most exciting part is the fact this works with several frameworks, like: React, Angular, Qwik, Solid, Vue, Svelte and even vanilla HTML, plus Tailwind, style comps and vanilla CSS. Great job, guys! A step in the right direction. Excited to see how this matures, and can't wait to actually use it for the first time.
Great stuff, looking forward to try it! I've been doing front end for years and I'm glad that most of the tedious work is getting automated and I can focus on more important.
I am a bit dissapointed that it was not a live launch, but a recorded and edited promo video. I can watch a video anytime, while if I am booking an exact time for something special, I'd expect a live event
ah! thanks for the feedback, we actually did this last time and almost no one joined the live part after the main announcement (people saw the main announcement and bounced to try it, which in hindsight seemed to make sense to us). i'll setup a longer live demo and Q&A next time
Pretty exciting being able to connect components to figma in a more natural way. Though I got say this premiere while obviously rehearsed with effort, listened like an ad. Personally more of a fan of the live demos. I'm not always sure when to trust highly scripted demos of ai tools due to "powered by ai" meaning a million different things, especially with what Google did with gemini ultra.
When I design in Figma, I create mobile, tablet and desktop frames. I may use one component for say ‘pricing’ and it has 3 variants. I use modes and variables to make the right variant work for each frame size i.e. mobile, tablet, desktop. How do I use Visual Copilot to use my responsive work in Figma?
I just want a full length tutorial please! like not a lot of talking but to explain concepts. It’s the only thing stopping me to switch from squarespace website builder. I love the idea but i work, am a webmaster at a non profit and uber because i have nothing better to do. Please post a full tutorial. Idc which framework. Just a full length tutorial please! Yes i can look at the docs but i need a good base and then i’ll figure it out on my own. Some people are visual. js
Is this product real? If it is, why not put it in the hands of the community and test this IRL production pipeline? You understand, that products for designers and frontend devs need validation and objective reaction from professionals. If companies have to fire their stuff due to this innovation, things must be more serious and proven. When your product promise is to change the whole production chain, you have to give more.
I’m sorry, but builder io is a major fail. The editor sucks (especially the UI), it’s super confusing to use, and the tutorials are usually not very informative. It doesn’t integrate with platforms well at all. It wraps each component in a div provided by builder, which just screws with the styles of the component you’re using. I’ve been trying to make builder work for the past week, but I’m about to give up. I’m simply quicker programming it all myself.

It is quite remarkable how much you're ahead of other solutions on the market. Congratz.

Looks awesome for productivity boost. Thanks for continuing to evolve web app and creative development.
This is wildly impressive. The level of Figma integration and component creation looks fantastic. 😍
this is the future 💪

Yeah I’m so confused right now. What’s velocity vs this other name. I’m lost.
I can’t wait for you guys to have Astro as one of your choices.
Hey Steve, a slow paced tutorial explaining these features would be great because some of the topics you mentioned I did not understand

Phenomenal
Sounds like future :-) Is that something Locofy's working?

Hi, does it work with Storybook?
(I thought it was a live event, I even added it to my calendar)
Hi @Steve8708, in the mapping functions I am unable to use props with function types. Is this a limitation?
So it sounds like one can use AI only to do the designs instead of needing a Figma design to start with, yes?

Is it free?
If its so good, why not just press "deploy" instead of generating code :D
Wonder about generated code quality..
Melbourne San Francisco 😅
Y the fuck they using phones in their marketing campaign and not supporting React Native 😂
