The rise of jockey sensation Billy Loughnane | Luck On Sunday | Racing TV

It was fantastic to welcome 16-year-old riding sensation Billy Loughnane and father and trainer Mark to the Luck On Sunday studios to recap on a meteoric career so far.
Nick talks to father and son about their close relationship and particularly about Billy, who was riding work at his father's yard at the age of 13.
Hear about why the Covid-19 lockdown had such a profound impact on the young Loughnane's career and significantly for the better, the benefit of pony racing as a foundation for a career in the saddle and who the rider talks to most of the time on his phone, and up to three of four times a day.
