Those upgrades look like they serve you well on track man! Can't wait to see the full video🙏🏼
Even with antisieze urethane does not last where I live. The inner steel sleeves sieze to the bolts year one. The hardrace rubber ones last and dont sieze in the same manner.
Also aluminum does not have a tensile quality. If it is bending it is forming micro fisures and will crack.
The free stuff is nice and I guess living in texas is easier on suspension parts. I run tein coilovers or their springs on tokico blue shocks.
For racing I think the best setup is still custom spring rates and revalved koni yellows. But this stuff might be good for you and I hope you enjoy it.
Cheers
The new maxpeedingrods are very clean and so much of a upgrade.
Great content, bro! Glad to see the channel growing again! Keep up the great updates!
Love all the EG builds on UA-cam
Love all your videos...keep up the great work...keep them videos coming...
Car is coming along and damn that b16 sounds mean
Nice work Jon, it's coming along very well. This should be a good season for you. Are you going to be tracking both cars this year or mainly focusing on the EG and give the CRX a break?
I put a little wrench time in this weekend as well, new Acuity short shifter kit & Billet Hasport Pitch mount 70A in my 8th gen. Wish I would have gotten the 65A for less harshness. I didn't think the 70A would be that rough with only the 1 mount. But driving feels crisper & improved throttle feel/response. Can't wait to install my Acuity shifter cable bushings & Hybrid Racing shifter springs & detent spring kits sometime pretty soon. Then it's on to the RL big brake kit. I just need the 350Z 12.8" rotors & I've got everything I need; problem is I am getting EBC rotors & pads so it'll be another $450🤦♂ but should be very well worth it.
Replying to my own comment lol: I took the time to loosen the Hasport mount up & actually torque it to spec, substantial difference WAY less harsh & definitely something I can appreciate now.
ALSO, I have received my EBC RedStuff pads & the EBC Sport slotted USR7122 rotors should be here today. Next chance I get I am going to prep the RL calipers for paint, I've decided on Blue, similar to the SPOON calipers.
what do you think about the COT7 after these several months?? compared to previous maxpeeding coils? thanks
Nice! Why did you get the extended ball joints for lowers? Loving this build so simple but so good
Roll center correction.
Do you think sway bars factor in more for going fast or coilovers
Coilovers
Need to upgrade the front calipers to EX or integra LS and upgrade the rear to disk
Not yet. I personally like using stock brakes and trying my best on track. Then upgrade when I felt I've reached my limit.
@@GarageBuiltHondas will be waiting for the video when the time comes
Grasias por conpartir boy aser lo mismo en mi acura.
Where did you buy the new timing covers for the b16?
Google "OEM Honda parts" and there's a ton of Honda dealerships that sell them. You can even go to your local Honda dealer and order them.
how much all kit
Which kit?
Nice dude that car sounds good and I hope those new parts made the car feel better on track, keep it up man
I have the gen2 MPR coils. Been daily driving them for over a year. Right rear started leaking in the first two months. They don’t dampen at all. Horrible cooks but about what I expected for $280. They got me through the year but definitely going to some other brand. Just horrible dampening.
That b16 sounds mighty healthy 👂👍👍
Suspension yay!!!! Let’s gooo!!
What's your opinion on Mostplus coilovers on a accord is it better than stock. Thank you.
I've never used them, sorry. I can't give any info on them.
Thinking about selling that d series supercharger?
Negative, sorry
Need to drop off my EK sedan and let you work your magic on it 😁
Bring it over!
For you’re 95 ej2, would those coilovers fit 95 integra sedan ?
Yes
Thank you bro
Those Maxspeeding or truharts ultra street?
The video literally says Maxpeedingrods lol
🔥🔥🔥😇😉🍻🍺
do you recommend them for drag
I'm sure they'd work fine unless you're a professional. Road racing is far more taxing on coilovers than drag so they should do just fine.
Hey man I noticed where you are located can we dm ?
I don't mind responding here. It's easier for me.
I noticed trans mountain and I’m on the east side of the city trying to keep it more private for you ofc.I got out of the Honda gang about a year ago when I moved here from Colorado But I’ve had 5 efs and I am looked for another as a daily. I see you have the hook ups lol wondering if you know anyone looking to get rid or eg ek ef anything I’m hard core Honda boy just can’t find anything in this little city
Man, there isn't much at times. I don't know of anything right now. Most cars sell on Facebook here it seems. That's probably your best bet right now.
Can't wait to see some more track videos from the EJ! This year I'm trying to get the Gold wagon ready for track use. I have some big plans that I can finally start going after again.
What do you think of the emusa budget coilovers?? Anyways great content
Never used them, I cannot speak about them, sorry.
