Good joke, but the real reason was that the Shiekah Slate was meant to represent the Wii U controller and Tears of the Kingdom is a Switch-exclusive title.
I've seen barely anybody mention it, but they absolutely nail the music here, particularly in the true ending. The transitioning between the Zonai theme, Sage theme, Hero theme, and Zelda's lullaby is just fantastic. It's also one of the only times the heros/main theme plays in full in both games. The music from 36:45 onward is the peak of it though. The swell into the main theme is just magnificent.
Lots of questions as this leaves me confused: 1. Was Calamity Ganon his magic essence or something, taking place after all the other games in the series? 2. If the other games exist in this timeline, and reincarnations still happened, does this mean Ganondorf here is just his original body before the reincarnations and did they co-exist? Or does this game retcon the reincarnations (Skyward Sword history being retconned)? 3. What happened to the three goddesses and the triforce? 4. Does that conclude this part of the timeline (for now, meaning no direct sequels to this) or did they just tease we were going to get another game set in the past? 5. Probably obvious, but does this mark the end of Ganondorf? Probably not unless they give us a defined solution to keep him gone permenantly, explicitly stating so.
At this point, they just should admit that Botw and TotK are a reboot/another reality because otherwise it would be very very inconsistant with the lore established in SS, OoT, the Hero of Legend saga and TWW.
@@geoffreygoncalves931 in this game they say that rauru was a zonai and the first king of hyrule and that ganondorf stole a stone from em making jim the demon king, except the first ganondorf from to oficial timeline is from Ocarina Of TIme, andin this game, not only was rauru not the king, BUT WAS ALSO HYLIAN

I felt relevied when I realized they replenish all your hearts during the battle against his Draconian form. Quite an adventure HAHAHAHA.
I like that when the master sword glows it also makes the same sound as when Fi emerged from it. Together with demon king Ganondorf looking so similar to Demise it’s cool there are nods to the origins of the timeline from Skyward Sword.

Quick list for things I recommend for this fight 1•a lot of dishes to heal yourself , I recommend putting 5 sundelions in a pan, so that when if you get hit you can restore the broken hearts 2•full fierce deity armor, dishes that give you attack+ and the master sword can come in pretty handy at this fight 3• recommend that you try to flurry rush as much as you can (Extra hint, I recommend fusing the master sword with any type of silver lynel horns) That’s all, hope I helped, since that’s what I used for this fight
What I recommend for players who want a challenge: -no sundelion healing, only normal healing -no fused materials, only normal Master Sword -No bow using -only Champion leather and hylian trousers as armor -no potion/food buffs That's how I beat Ganondorf entire final battle during my first playthrough and that was the most challenging thing after Hollow Knight's Absolute Radiance. I recommend it for experienced players that played Botw for a long time
29:47 Come on Nintendo! Can’t you just let Link and Zelda give each other a hug or a kiss? I am tired of all of the hints and suggestions since Zelink has been official.
Link already made his vow a hundred years ago, plus he's a silent protagonist. I agree about the lack of a hug and kiss; that's a real shame, especially since there are Zelda games where Zelda has hugged Link (Spirit Tracks) and Zelda games where Zelda has kissed Link (the linked ending to the Oracle games).
if you mean true ending, 1. you should put on champions tunic, well-worn hair band and hylian trousers 2. you should only be able to use master sword, no shield, no bow, just master sword 3. you should need to have full hearts and stamina(which isn't posible becouse we have to wait untill dlc that should give us 8 more shrines which means it's imposible to get true ending for now) 4. you need full battery
Imagine a sequel where a couple years later (maybe Link and Zelda are older and married) and at that time comes the completion of another 100 years, so a new boy from Guerudo is born, but he’s not necessarily a villain, just struggles to overcome his natural desires to take over Hyrule. maybe Ganon is messing with the boy’s mind but wrestles with it. (Not good to be a main plot alone, maybe, but that would be some good stuff😅)

That first person shot of Zelda thanking Link; if I was smiling I know he was smiling idc what you say! I hope they adapt this story (along with botw to an extent) into a manga like they did with Twilight Princess. It was a joy to experience. I don’t know what to do now😭
Because Ganondorf is the Reincarnation of Demise, Same thing goes to Link and Zelda.. As zelda is the Reincarnation of Hylia and Link is... Well the Reincarnation of the Original Link... Only because Demise putted a Curse on the Skyward Sword Link and Zelda that everytime a new Reincarnation starts.. Ganondorf is born and begins again to torment Link and Zelda..
@Shellshock39 It's a possibility that Zelda and Link are possibly putting an end to Demise's Curse... Mostly because the Demon King is almost putting out all of his power to stop zelda and Link, So he's losing his Curse and now more focusing to destroy Link and Zelda after all the times he lost to them.. Problem is we don't know which point of timeline Breath of the wild or Tears of the Kingdom exist in..
@kaelhyun2401 but.. Which timeline? I'm guessing after "the Hero is Successful?" Cause Orcarina of time is where the story Spilts into Two timelines, The hero is Successful is where it leads up to Majora's Mask to Twilight Princess (As it follows Child link to Adult links story) The other is the one where link fails to defeat ganon and it leads up to Links awakening to Phantom tracks...
This is the best LoZ Ganondorf fight, and best LoZ final boss in the whole series!! Prior the this, you have a 4 Wave Demon King Army to defeat, then the bosses show up, the sages take them on as you confront Ganondorf. Then after the 1st Stage of Ganondorf, all your sages join the fight, which also lets you k ow that they are killed the bosses again, and let's not forget the 2nd stage of Ganondorf is a Double Health Bar (Absolutely hilarious btw), just intense. The 1st half of the 2nd stage, All 6 of you fight the Demon King, and the 2nd half of the 2nd stage, it becomes 1 on 1 again... and to top it all off, Ganondorf does Gloom damage, which can not be healed normally, pmus some of his attacks do PERMANENT damage, eliminating hearts 1 by 1, the same way he did in the very beginning of the game. Great way to tie everything together, and flawless execution! BUT THEN, after the 2nd stage is defeated. Ganondorf rips the Secret Stone out of his head and EATS IT, becoming a Dragon... and if you invested time in the storytelling, then you know when you get saved from the Jaws of the Demon Dragon, its the Light Dragon, which is Zelda!!! Then to close it out, after killing the Demon Dragon with your Master Sword, also retrieved from the Light Dragon, Zelda returns back to normal, andcyou have a chance to fix what you failed at from the beginning of the adventure... you couldn't reach her hand in time, but now, you grab her hand, hold her tight, and fall safely in Water... the same Pond you fell into after leaving the Sky Island, where the Journey, Ends! 10/10 Game!!!

More so when you go to Link's house in Hateno Town and you find out they live together. Even sharing a bed. You can't be more official than that to me. Without saying it. As Zelda would want to name them have her mother (keep the tradition going) and Sonia, the ancestor she bonded with in the past to honor her.
fun fact the game also implies link doesnt live there.... yes zelda loved link but the other way around? wasnt confirmed. 1. clavia confirmed kids flood the house daily after zelda teaches. explaining her needing a secret room to think and be alone. if link lived there hed know about it since its 3 feet away from the house. and everyone including zelda say its just her house. 2. zeldas favorite student she always sees zelda as well as the other kids dont know who like is as well as the heteno villagers. the student who saw zelda leave shows zelda left for the castle alone. the kids even only drawing a picture of them with zelda. later after finishing the school quest they draw one of link after. 3. the table was always set up for two in botw, several npcs who live alone have the house set up for two. real live ppl living alone set furniture up for multiple ppl thats a straw grab. 4. link can sleep in calips bed, the korok forest bed, old mans bed, east reservoir bed, selmies bed, hebra lodge bed, pondos bed, and the look out bed. 5 all of links belongings save the champion portrait are gone. while theres small moments...its sadly still not canon...zeldas va even bactracking for something to be confirmed it needs to actually be confirmed...no ambiguity... said shown and stated in the material...and sadly its not.. theres a clear difference between mario and peach vs link and zelda. and for one the devs themselves confirmed they purposely made it ambiguous

Lots of questions as this leaves me confused:

They really said “Oh so BOTW boss was TOO EASY you say…? Let’s go the complete other direction and make it a HARD fight this time around : )” GOD DAM
This fight was so freaking hard, mainly the second phase because of that nasty health bar
Quick list for things I recommend for this fight
1•a lot of dishes to heal yourself , I recommend putting 5 sundelions in a pan, so that when if you get hit you can restore the broken hearts
2•full fierce deity armor, dishes that give you attack+ and the master sword can come in pretty handy at this fight
3• recommend that you try to flurry rush as much as you can
(Extra hint, I recommend fusing the master sword with any type of silver lynel horns)
That’s all, hope I helped, since that’s what I used for this fight
What I recommend for players who want a challenge:
-no sundelion healing, only normal healing
-no fused materials, only normal Master Sword
-No bow using
-only Champion leather and hylian trousers as armor
-no potion/food buffs
That's how I beat Ganondorf entire final battle during my first playthrough and that was the most challenging thing after Hollow Knight's Absolute Radiance. I recommend it for experienced players that played Botw for a long time

29:47 Come on Nintendo! Can’t you just let Link and Zelda give each other a hug or a kiss? I am tired of all of the hints and suggestions since Zelink has been official.
Yeah, it's annoying. It wouldn't even be the first time they've let Link and Zelda hug (Spirit Tracks) or kiss (the Oracle games).
A classic finisher. All three(four if you count demise) prior fights with ganondorf are finished by stabing him, usualy in the forehead.
I don't care about the spoilers. I want to watch this and then know what to do at the end of the game.
Damn Zelda. Not even a hug and and a kiss 😅? Link had the perfect opportunity to speak too, when they swore to protect Hyrule.
Link already made his vow a hundred years ago, plus he's a silent protagonist. I agree about the lack of a hug and kiss; that's a real shame, especially since there are Zelda games where Zelda has hugged Link (Spirit Tracks) and Zelda games where Zelda has kissed Link (the linked ending to the Oracle games).
if you mean true ending,
1. you should put on champions tunic, well-worn hair band and hylian trousers
2. you should only be able to use master sword, no shield, no bow, just master sword
3. you should need to have full hearts and stamina(which isn't posible becouse we have to wait untill dlc that should give us 8 more shrines which means it's imposible to get true ending for now)
4. you need full battery
Can we talk about how much link isn’t appreciated enough. He does anything for anybody in hyrule if they ask.
Ikr!
Villagers must love him
Imagine a sequel where a couple years later (maybe Link and Zelda are older and married) and at that time comes the completion of another 100 years, so a new boy from Guerudo is born, but he’s not necessarily a villain, just struggles to overcome his natural desires to take over Hyrule. maybe Ganon is messing with the boy’s mind but wrestles with it. Anybody else notice how this Ganondorf has an uncanny resemblance to Demise?
Because Ganondorf is the Reincarnation of Demise,
Same thing goes to Link and Zelda..
As zelda is the Reincarnation of Hylia and Link is...
Well the Reincarnation of the Original Link...
Only because Demise putted a Curse on the Skyward Sword Link and Zelda that everytime a new Reincarnation starts..

Yes. I know that. I'm pointing out that this Ganondorf looks more like Demise than the original
@Shellshock39 It's a possibility that Zelda and Link are possibly putting an end to Demise's Curse...
Mostly because the Demon King is almost putting out all of his power to stop zelda and Link,

Indeed it’s canon
Yeah. They are. Honestly someone should edit Wikipedia and Google because some anti who knows nothing about Zelda wrote it. 😂 Zelink is canon. They’re the main pairing.
More so when you go to Link's house in Hateno Town and you find out they live together. Even sharing a bed. You can't be more official than that to me. Without saying it.
Plus the way Zelda even talks about Link to her ancestors Raruru and Sonia. They act like parents with a knowing look...just from the way she talks about him. In one of the memories.
I just keep thinking Zelda and Link would have daughters named Zelda and Sonia now.
5 all of links belongings save the champion portrait are gone.
while theres small moments...its sadly still not canon...zeldas va even bactracking
