I like the little detail where Terrako was about to wake up when he saw Link until Impa got in the way of his view. It goes to show that even though Terrako was made for Zelda, Link and him are still Bros.
That's because she's poorly written. Impa was always known as the more patient of the two sisters, a little too patient (in Purah's words). At a couple points she acts like a patient and considerate person, but mostly she gets irritated by Terrako, stamps her feet and acts like a child. If she grew up consistently over the course of the game it would be fine, but she is all over the place from beginning to end.
@@Kwazy-mojo They likely tried to make her different from the others. Just as Zelda in Botw considering she is not interested of doing princess duties, and prefers to do research and explore the land. She also doesnt wear her usual princess outfit too.

Yah it’s a bit sad, I thought they were gonna make it as “canon” to Botw as possible. (Even if it meant having the end of the game be the start of Botw)
@@captzucc technically it is in a way. the way they made this from what I understand is similar to parallel dimension theory. lets say that that botw is universe a and that the little guardian went back in time before the calamity. by intervening with the past it split into another path so the hyrule warriors would be universe b. now there are 2 timelines and 2 universes. so both r technically canon. if this is still too hard to understand read comics or movies have similar theories like x-men days of future past, or terminator series (i know most of there movies r bad but technically all of them r technically canon with the whole time travel thing)
@@kamyu3755 yeah but this makes the game a sequel spinoff instead of a prequel. I would've preferred a straight up prequel. And then rushing to save them as link and Zelda but reaching too late as our hearts sunk deeper and deeper from failure. Seeing them hide link and recording the messages that we hear in BotW. Then in the final mission telling Impa to go hide as we play Zelda marching into the castle and a final boss battle with the calamity where we manage to trap it to one location until Link awakens. I thought maybe this game could be non Canon because nintendo was probably just trying to show people what it looked liked if they did win against ganon like a what if kind of game And also because they needed to fill the gap in-between BOTW and BOTW2
Not even a good one. "and then the champion's descendants from the future saved them and master kohga turned good and the king was alive and they all became friends and saved hyrule together and everybody lived happily ever after" I really just paid all that money to preorder half a game, and half of a badly-written fanfic
@@larce021 it's a major plot point in the second half of the game. Astor kills a few members of the Yiga clan to create new blight ganons and help resurrect calamity ganon, and Kohga just runs off and decides to work with the champions to stop the calamity - which he'd adamantly been working towards and still was a follower of in BOTW - because a few members of the Yiga clan were killed. I'd be a lot more pissed off if he wasn't fun to play as, but cheap fanservice doesn't make the game good.
@@NeoWolves7 she finished the armour in BOTW. AoC just strips BOTW of any emotional impact because everyone lives in a different timeline - at least before this was released, the Zelda timeline was made more reasonable with the decision to have the only one course of events across all 3 timelines - now it forks and creates a timeline that couldn't even exist on its own.
@@DisasterEnby actually well, I don’t know if it’s canon. But spoilers There is a side quest quest called “Heart’s Escort” where you play as Mipha defending the Dormain then as you progress thru, you find out link is there as well. When you finish the quest you unlocked the Zora Armor.

Unpopular opinion: I love the timelines :)) it's like a Ghibli Movie, it doesn't need to make sense to be beautiful. There are so many new, powerful stories that come out of it! And you must admit, it's still fun to wonder about each one and try to fill in the gaps :).
Yeah, I love Ravioli, he's my little pasta boi. I noticed though that all the other champions are standing together and Revali is standing on his own. Maybe its just because they wanted that scene to just showcase pasta boi, or maybe another reason idk

Not really, no. He reconciles with her and admits that he was wrong to try and stifle her talents. Given that he was aware of the prophecy that the Calamity would return in his lifetime meant he himself was being put under a whole lot of pressure to keep his Kingdom safe. Was he the best father? Not all the time. But he very clearly loved Zelda and only wanted what was best for not just her, but the whole of Hyrule. He's also a damn monster that can basically solo endgame content, so that helps.
@Grass I'm not insulting you, so why do you feel the need to insult me? The fact is that Rhoam was working off what he knew, and what he knew was that the Calamity would return in his lifetime and would destroy his kingdom. He also knew that Zelda would be integral to averting the destruction of Hyrule and that she truly was doing everything she could, but for the sake of the people she couldn't just follow her own desires and had to be wholly focused upon unlocking her powers. If you recall in Breath of the Wild, you can find Rhoam's diary in Hyrule Castle where he basically understands that he's been too harsh on her, and that once she returns from the Spring of Wisdom he'll finally be able to let up on her because she will quite literally have exausted every oppurtunity she could. Age of Calamity is the golden ending - its the perfect run that ensures everyone gets to live...and it only happens because a Zelda who failed made a desperate wish on the Triforce to avert disaster that was already too late to stop. I don't personally think you're willing to appreciate that and are instead targeting your focus on what we see through Zelda's eyes alone, rather than take into consideration what we have from background observation and lore in Breath of the Wild as well.
In hos journal in the botw he said after spring of wisdom he would let zelda try other options but, ganon said hello, he would say sorry and admit nothing could be done

@@eagle3676 I thought they make this a canon timeline... Well I hope you're right cuz this timeline basically has solve 98% of the problems and killing Ganondorf would be overkill at this point.

Again, that's not how timetravel works. I already explain it, but once Terrako changes the 'present', he creates a new timeline just for the ones in the 'past', which means in the present of Riju, Yunobo, Sidon and Teba, the champions are still dead.
@@yasinn9492 so... U saying there are two timelines now, one that already happened and is still going and the other one that was created on age of calamity?
@@Josejlz Pretty much, yes. It's almost the same thing with Ocarina of Time and the slipt into the Adult Link Timeline and the Child Link Timeline. Once Link is sent back to the past in order to 'live' his childhood, it's created a new timeline in which Ganon never had the oportunity of take control over Hyrule and the Triforce of Power, and then is banished into the Twilight Realm.
I love the dynamic Terrako and Impaya have. We have a cat that accepts petting and cuddles from everyone but it SPECIFICALLY stiff-arms my mom every time she attempts to get close.
So, a new timeline? We've got the OG timeline, where the other champions die, and Link wakes up after 100 years to save Hyrule. And where BOTW 2 comes in. And this new one, where some time travel allows Link and the others to defeat Ganon before it's too late. Strange, but a neat idea. It's pretty much doing what Ocarina of Time did. It created three new timelines. And now this game makes two.
The difference between this and OoT is that this game isn't part of the main franchise, so it's just what all the other HW are, a spin-off. No new timeline in the main games.
There's yet the timeline in which the corrupted Terrako was sent to the past by Ganon and joined the Prophet of Doom. In this game, this doesn't happen, as Tarreko was defeated and repaired at the end.
@@theyounglinker5044 I remember a well done theory that said if Hyrule Warriors was canon, it would combine all three timelines together, resulting in Breath of the Wild.

Zelda timeline people are going to have a blast with this one
So we are just doubling down on Zelda's dad being the worst to her aren't we.
@Grass That's...an interpretation. One that doesn't hold water, but it's an interpretation I suppose.
@Grass your literally changing it from rhoam is an awful father to this story is trash. Keep your rants consistent please.

4.The 100 years after will be changed
5.This opens even more timelines since the current day "Champions" got to meet their predecessors
