Every pair you showed looks great on you! I’m ordering the slippers right now! My husband has been home with me since he retired 3 years ago and I could use suggestions too! Since the new backdrop looks so nice I’m going to suggest you give your husband the title of set designer. How about a video where you model an outfit that he has selected totally on his own without your input. That would be fun!

Hi Theresa…When my Dad retired my Mum said he was a grump for about a year🤣🤣🤣I think he found it hard to adjust…that was 30 years ago and he’s doing just fine now🤣🤣🤣
I loved the pointy toe black suede boot with the flared jeans, super cute and very flattering!
My husband and I have been married for 45 years. We are both retired and are at home most days. What works for us? We both have hobbies that we are passionate about, and we are in different rooms/parts of the house when we are "working" at these hobbies. We're too busy to annoy one another or get in eachother's way. The best of both worlds because we are still close and can communicate whenever we want. Looking forward to your 2024 videos. Great shoes. ❤😊. Glad you are back and had a good holiday. My husband and I retired 6 years ago. We have a 10 year old grandson that keeps us busy. Didn’t think I would be in a car line pickup but here we are ❤️🥰❤️. I have a high school group that gets together once a month and my husband volunteers at church once a week. We enjoy eating at new places for lunch. One day at a time 😊🥰❤️

I sure hope I can get some recommendations from this video. I have the hardest time finding shoes that fit well and feel great.
I bought a pair of dream pairs heels, not a comfy as I was expecting. But I’d try other styles for sure.
I’d try the style the ivory lace up boot with a maxi. You are definitely set on shoes!

For Future Reference... All UGG & ugg style boots are fully lined... Some have a removable insole that can be replaced thru Amazon. Bear Paw is an inexpensive version w/waterproof treated suede & wool lining... P. S. I Rarely pay Retail...

Hi Theresa! Thanks for this great video! All of the boots look great. I wore leg warmers all the time in the 1970's and 1980's. I was a dancer and did the aerobics with them too. The trends in boots seem to be from the 1990's and the 1980's. My teenage granddaughters are wearing stuff that I wore back in the day! My daughter says they are bringing back her teen style too! It is great I think. comfortable and practical for the winter. Stay warm!
Have you tried the Columbia Newton Ridge Waterproof boots? My husband suggested them to me because he wears Columbia boots. Well, I love them!

I loved all of the boots you reviewed. Truth be told I enjoy buying boots more than buying shoes. The leg warmer trend was big when I was in school and very practical because I attended a Catholic high school I had to wear a plaid uniform skirt in the winter. The goal was to look like Coco from Fame or Jennifer Beals in Flashdance. My husband and I have not hit retirement yet but I’m looking forward to it one day.
I just ordered dream pairs boots and they worked like a dream for the snow and freezing cold blast in my neck of the woods last week! I have the faux fur winter booties, you did not feature them, but if anyone needs a real winter boot for going out in to shovel, they are really good. I'd wear them with skinny jeans too. They are super cute and comfortable and I will use them for my outside 3 mile walks all winter.
Hi Gina - WOW, 3 mile walks in the Winter, GOALS! It was rainy with some ice here yesterday and I had on a pair of Dream Pairs boots. I love that they keep my feet warm and dry but they ALSO look good :)

My advice is to make sure he creates his time for himself. BTW, my friend had been retired three years before het husband. She told me she advised her husband do the things he’s always wanted to do but never had the time for. My friend’s husband wanted to learn how to play guitar so he purchased a good one through a pawn shop and enrolled in a series of classes, beginning to where he had to learn how to read notes. He liked coaching his daughter’s track team so he went back to her high school and went through all the necessary paperwork and background checks and is now assisting the head coach with the school’s track team. They also joined a gym and now go together. They go to breakfast and dinner together once a week. She said life is good. He now has some buddies that have retired and they’re doing fun things like play golf and he goes to the gym with them too.
Those are all good tips! Right before my husband retired, he was randomly gifted a keyboard that a friend no longer wanted. He does practice on that every day. He wears headphones since he is just learning :)

Please share your survival tips. My husband will be retiring this year as well, and we have lived geographically separated for the last 5 years about 2.5 hours apart for work reasons. I work from home and can't see how we are going to function with him here full time! Thanks!

@@TheresaRene360 He is going to have to get some hobbies 🤣. My husband started going to the gym after knee replacement, then he wanted me to go with him 🙁. No, seriously we worked together for years and years so not much of an adjustment. He started telling me how to cook and clean at first and I said just go for it yourself. That did not last long.
