this helped so much i've been trying to memorize katakana which i learnt long back and forgot cause of school tasks now am free and this really video really made me learn in no time ,THANKS
My only goal is to achieve fluency in Japanese and make friends and communicate with other people! And I really want to start reading Manga and watch anime without subtitles or dubbed ✨ Thank you for teaching us the language 先生❤️
This was wonderful, really helped. Can you add those other combination katakana, katakana plus small vowels, I guess. it would be really helpful. Thank you for this. Really, keep doing the good work...
That Japanese system is used for writing words and loandwords of foreign origin. Although there are no new sounds to learn, it is used for both specific and technical purposes.
These are amazing!!! any chance you can make these and a video on vocab lists, that or sell me it in a book! would love 2 columns like Kanji, hiragana/katakana. Anyway keep up the great work.
Thank you very much for your kind words! Your suggestion has greatly inspired me. While I would love to publish a book eventually, for now, I'd like to provide the content you desire through free videos and utilize UA-cam's membership program. I'm particularly interested in creating vocabulary-related videos, just as you mentioned. Could you please provide more details? When you mention two columns, do you mean something like the example below? I want to make sure I create videos that align with your preferences, so please let me know if I misunderstood anything. Example: 毎日 まいにち 時間 じかん
Sorry for the delayed response; I was traveling 🙏 Yes, it’s necessary to use angled shapes. Hiragana is more curved, while katakana is characterized by its angular forms.
Odd question, but I found it strange that these two ジ ヅ Look almost exactly the same。when I use my Japanese keyboard i have to write it out in romaji, and katakana du ヅ and katakana zi ジ look the exact same to me. in the video It has them both down as being zi ジ。Can you please help me find a resource that can help with the effort of making them look different, or helping with seeing them as looking different? Thank you very much for your time.
"ジ" and "ヅ" do look quite similar indeed. The main difference lies in the angles of the first and second strokes. The first stroke of "ヅ" has a steeper angle, closer to vertical, compared to "ジ." Additionally, there is a distinction in the direction of the third stroke - for "ジ," it is written from the bottom, while for "ヅ," it is from the top. Consequently, in handwritten characters, it's easier to differentiate them by observing the thinness at the end of the third stroke. However, in fonts, this might be challenging, so distinguishing them primarily relies on recognizing the angles of the first and second strokes.
One question where is I in wa and wo since that is all the purpose that I wanted to check this video? I have it in my dictionary but it's not shown here, why?

So when you write katakana is it necessary to angulate your words like you do in e o ka ku ke etc ?
yes, katakana tends to look more sharp and helps differentiate between hiragana and katakana. Its really important
