Mutombo you know the drill! it’s all about the local food or at least try it and a sightseeing ride around the city. That’s а great combo. and I was Pleasantly surprised to know that Kempinski also operates in 🇰🇪. Speaking of kempinski, My favorite kempinski is in Moscow right opposite and facing the Kremlin(red square) over the river and the view is breathtaking. highly recommended…

The concierge was alarmist and a bad representation of his country by perpetrating stereotypes. As a Kenyan he should have known better. Like you rightfully pointed out, just have your wits about and around you in any big city or crowded places. In the 90s Nairobi CBD had a bad reputation because of the street kids menace that stole and terrorised people and just general insecurity like mugging. Today, that can rarely happen and the part of town you were in is generally safe. Hopefully we have more footage of activities you did in Nairobi and I hope Mombasa is treating you good.
Yeahhh I think the concierge just preferred to err on the side of caution. He probably didn’t know that generally, I can handle myself out and about It’s good to know that Nairobi CBD is generally safe… I definitely felt at ease walking about.
I honestly didn’t do too much to show in Nairobi. Mostly running errands and sitting in meetings and that left little time to explore the city. Mombasa on the other hand… 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 Thanks Alex!
Hi bro i see your electrical engineer work day vlog so please tell me what's graduation you have , which field you have. And which job you working right now
Hi! I have an undergrad degree in Electrical engineering with a specialization in Telecoms and a master's degree in telecoms. I got my first engineering job with just my bachelors tho. That work day vlog you saw was at my job as an analyst at an engineering firm. I explained my whole job in the video.
That greasy chips and chicken can hardly be described as Nairobi street food. Such kind of places were popular with teenagers in the 80s and 90s as they were obsessed with anything Americana and it's obvious they really didn't grow up 30-40 years later. I would not advise anyone to go eat that bad food. There's nothing culturally Kenyan about it even the weird names that pay homage to US cities and celebrities
Ahh this makes sense. I agree that the actual Kenyan food (chapati, Ugali, mrenda etc) that I ate the next day was definitely better. Great, in fact. Thanks for the clarification

In Kenya, taxis or "Yellow Line Cabs" are mostly white or any other colour with a yellow stripe. With Uber and the likes, any color floats
