How to Make an Aesthetic Discord Welcome Message with Carl Bot

This tutorial will show you how to make an aesthetic Discord welcome message with Carl Bot. The message will have an aesthetic appearance while giving the new Discord member all of the required information when joining.
You can add clickable channel names to your welcome message so members know where to go for the information they want. This is a great way to direct new users to the rules and roles channels. It's important that new users know what is expected of them in the server, and have a general understanding of how the server works.
Additionally, you can add emojis to your Discord welcome message to make it more aesthetic. Typically the standard wave emoji is used in a welcome message. However, we also recommend adding some server emojis to make the welcome message unique to your server. Ideally, you will want to include server emojis that follow the color scheme of your server to ensure your welcome message is aesthetic.
If you have a Discord welcome channel header then you can include it in the welcome message. To do this you will need to post the image in your server and copy the image link. Once done you can insert it into your welcome message so that it displays as a large image at the bottom of the text.
Another option is to add a title to your welcome message using the message content box. By typing a hashtag followed by a space and the word "Welcome" you can add a clean header to your message.
When you set up an aesthetic Discord server we recommend including the mention and server variables. By using the mention variable new members will automatically be greeted directly, with their name included in the mention.

can you do welcome messages to different channels? i want to set up one for my welcome and the other one for when we chat. example a member joins my server the first welcome message will say read the rules etc etc. after that my member will be send to another channel can i make another welcome message to that channel? my fisrt welcome message wont be delete it ?

@slurptech following this tutorial to the T but for some reason when doing /testgreet it refuses to show the image i've already linked in the welcome settings as well as the toggle color picker. only shows the messages i've put in and nothing else. also will not correctly display any server emojis i put in, even when doing it in the way shown above. gave carl bot all necessary permissions. if anyone can help me please lmk!

You can add emojis into your message by copying and pasting it in (the emoji not the code) or by pressing Win +. To open the Emoji keyboard. You only need to code for server emojis, as in ones you’ve added to the server. All default ones work as is, without the need for the code

@@berrysimple create a role in your server for the level which people will unlock the channel. Assign that as a role level with Arcane bot. Open the channel settings and go to permissions then select the everyone permissions and disable the view channel permission. Then add the level role to the permissions, and enable the view channel permission.
