    I am a golfer and have had IT band pain for 4-5 years which I think is related to my golf swing. It also hurts when I walk 2-3 miles and then I have trouble lifting that leg. Thanks for these exercises, I will try them!

    Chronic IT band over about 10 years, always a struggle when I start ramping up the mileage over 8 miles, makes my favorite half-marathon distance very iffy!

    Foam rolling the IT band is way too painful for me.

      It definitely can be and honestly doesn't do a lot to address the root cause!

    I was having issues with my it band a while ago and it got so bad that I couldn't lift my leg.
