Quite like that 03 unit, noticed you are using the Molicell 45b 21700s, excellent choice. Be replacing all my lipos with these and have already started on it. 👍
They are great cells for medium amperage uses, though there is nothing out there currently other than a high quality lipo for high amp situations. I'm loving the O3 air unit, especially on planes where the latency is not so critical. They record a really good picture but still not as great as a heavy GoPro type camera.
@@Caroline_Tyler I just built a 5s Molicell, give it a test flight the other day in my penguin and coped really nice pulling 42amps on full Knacker at 105mph for about 8 second bursts. Coped easily and slightly warm when I landed. Real nice batteries as for the 03 unit not gonna be as good as a GoPro but it’s getting there.
@@terrymurphy562 and its so much easier to mount! Airflow can be an issue though.
@@Caroline_Tyler ye gets hot fast, could try a cooling fan on it or a heat sink if you have the room. 👍
@@terrymurphy562 I tend to add heat sinks and the airflow usually keeps it cool. For larger models I add an RC controlled switch to keep the OE powered off until I'm ready to launch with a good satellite lock. :)
