Since eickhon came out with the Gbk i wanted this knife so bad.. but i was too late and couldnt get it anymore. Im so happy condor came out with this. Just ordered it right away. Absolutely lovely blade. As always with condor the price is more than worth it.

Do you have Condors Australian army machette?.. it's an exact copy (nearly)of the lithgow small arms factory MA66.. issued to Aust spec forces in malaya and Vietnam? It's just made to go to work. Typical Condor leather sheaths. They come super tight. Just slam the blade into it. Leave it there for a week. Let the leather conform to the blade. Afterwards sheath works properly. I know some folks try to wet-mold Condor leather sheaths to hurry the process along. So unnecessary. Am disappointed to see zero reinforcement rivets at the sheaths stress points. But practically every knife company does that now. They don't care. They used to.
Great looking knife and sheath. Shame it is so dull. I agree don't mind putting an edge on but not right out of the box. After all the first thing a knife should do is cut. If you do take it out after you put an edge on it would like to see it used. #22aday
Thanks! I'll get around to putting an edge on it sooner or later, but judging by the Sigrun, it's going to be a big job. Took me almost an hour on the stones to do that Sigrun. Damn shame.
Cause latino (farmers, peasants) users buy their sharp implements cheap and dull! They are used to sharpen them themselves. That should be knives fans's common knowledge. I'm very surprised you don't know !😮

I really like this blade! My plan A from Condor came dull as a butter knife. But all my other Condors came fairly sharp.

Same issue here. Knife came as dull as an iron bar out of the box. As a Belgian, I am disappointed in this Belgian Bowie.
