Hi Pat. All banana leaves go down to the ground. The banana doesn't have a trunk. All growth above ground are only leaves. The pups at the base are called rhizomes. Separate them from momma tree at 2 to 3 ft when they have their own roots. You can do it earlier but near 100% succes if they have roots.

I can’t believe such a wonderful project is taking place in Jamaica. Can’t someone in the government take notice? So much empty land in St Mary, can we get this enterprising young man to have a training school for some young people .I need to get some more information about this project. Honey , young lady, be careful of Colic. Hands off young man , God bless you.

This guy is very knowledgeable. Very few people know that the Aloe Vera plant contains amino acids such as leucine, isoleucine, and saponin glycosides that provide a very good cleansing action. It also has other vitamins and minerals with antitoxins.

Jamaica is indeed blessed because your national anthem is a prayer. Every time you sing it or recite it you are praying and asking God to bless your land, to guide you, to help you do the right thing, and you even ask God for help to go when duty calls. Cmon now. That's so powerful! A lot of anthems speak of the country's history, Its beauty, its goals. I am Guyanese and ours is a love letter to the country itself. It's beautiful, but I will take a prayer any day. My 2 cents.

I enjoyed this so much. Just subscribed to your channel. I want to start a food forest. 8 acres here in Central Florida. Side note: He looks so much like Agent Saco.

Wow! 8 acres? Wow! That's a dream of mine. You could definitely have a monster food forest with that kind of acreage. I have never heard of that singer. Just looked him up. I def see some resemblance. Thanks so much for watching and for subscribing. Appreciate that

@Backyard Farmer Pat yes he does. Yes I have one acre cleared where my house is located. I need to watch more of your videos. My problem is the sand. I will watch more of your videos to see how you start.

@@Sherby1350 I have that problem here too. I just moved here last year. I added lots of soil and fertilizer in the areas I planted and mulch really helped a ton. Get Chip Drop in your area. Spread it every where you want to eventually plant. The chips breaks down and feeds the soil eventually. Watch my videos for more tips

Love this fruit farm, lovely fruits. It reminds me of The Penang Tropical fruit farm, in Asia, it is on only 25 acres and have over 200 varieties of fruit trees from around the world. They do guided tours, fruit tasting, make jams, jellies and juices from the farm and sell in their outlets. They also have a nursery that sell plants. This farm has huge potential, it can be developed for tourism with so much land. They need a website and an outlet to sell these fruits and improve on the landscaping. I will go there one day to get some of those plants. Thanks❤❤❤❤❤
