A lot of people don't get that. Just doing damage doesn't mean you did well. You need to have done your job based on what ship type you are playing. GK is a ferocious brawler. As far as I know only Republique can match it's brawling capabilities. You may disagree but I have outbrawled GKs in Repub so I believe it. Pretty good game. Cap control is probably the most important aspect of the game because even if everyone on your team dies but you've held the cap for majority of the game, you can very easily still win on points.
You’re exactly right and I have many instances of this happening, I can definitely believe you republique Is one tough ship to take down, but personally I’ve never lost a brawl to another t10 bb on GK if the HP pool is around the same and no one else is shooting at me as well but those situations are super rare to come across

I feel like in a GK, you always have the pressure that you must push in to achieve your maximum efficiency, while the other battleships are more effective from the start of a battle. I have only very limited experience in T10 BBs, however
Hi Michael, I definitely agree with you that GK can sometimes be very situational I’ve had many experiences when I was wishing I was in a republique halfway through a fight, but where Republique lacks GK excels for example republique just doesn’t have the amour to hold out under fire of multiple ships it will melt extremely quick, I’ve had many instances where the German steel saved my life in the game, the secondary’s are so effective sometimes it’s scary, you saw in the gameplay that I didn’t even need to look at that shima and he died. I have a video coming out tomorrow of a very aggressive GK game and you’ll see that it’s a very good choice!

If you sail off alone prepared to be focused everyone wants to shoot GK so don’t make myself the only target so try stay close to teammates and when the opportunity shows it’s self rush down the enemy’s with caution

Secondary is slot one, fire prevention in slot 2 and torpedo dmg reduction in slot 3. Elite upgrade is improved armour belt
