Missed you gals and so glad you are back on and have time to catch up with all of you. For 2025 would love to knit more socks and crochet more baby blankets and baby sweaters. Take care.
My 2025 goals - for practical use - a basic grey cardigan to replace a commercial sweater I own. And for fun - a color tip tee! I have a mini set for the tips and want to find a main color.
This year I plan to make a Marius-genser rund Sal sweater. I fell in love with it when I saw Amanda wearing hers!
Your Malin is stunning, Jen and looks great on you.
I love watching and knitting along with you gals! You're great! I want to be more mindful in my makes. I love the cutest things, but I don't wear them so much. So I want the items to have a lot of wearability. Last year I made 38 things but I think that's too many to keep up with. All the best, Kimberly
It's always good to see you ladies. I have several WIPs and that's actually my goal this year: I really want to complete at least four of them. Otherwise I have yarn and projects paired up for at least 30 projects in no particular order and y'all know I'm always knitting socks.
Such beautiful LBA colors! I've got a few goals for 2025: a just-in-case shawl for my youngest's outdoor college graduation (probably a pattern by Lisa Hannes), a worsted cardigan in a bright color, and a basic PetiteKnit raglan sweater for the fall.
Great episodes as always! Bring me joy watching you joking, laughing and discussing each other's wips and projects. My big dream knit for 2025 is Hana sweater by Junko, I have yarn, I swatched.... But this sweater is a beast😂 and I am getting ready mentally to concure it 🙄
Hi Kathleen, Jen and Amanda, Thanks again for another inspiring episode. My goals for 2025 are to make a second "Lady Fingers Sweater" (just casted onto my needles..thanks Kim for your very informative helpful Great Class) , Church charity Knitting /Crocheting and to make Crochet Christmas Bauble ornaments for family gifts !
Happy Knitting/Crocheting /Crafting to all!
Oh my gosh I’ve been wanting to knit the Lady Fingers Sweater. 🤞🏼 Also a color work top. Thank you for another great episode.
SO happy to have found you all! I used to live in Bloomfield and work in Roseland and now I'm quite a bit further west; however, I can't wait to visit your store! I'm a crocheter first and a novice knitter (who actually has more knit WIPs right now over crochet 🙃 Hoping to accomplish my first (of many) pairs of socks this year along with Musselburgh hats! Hoping I can get to meet ya'll in person sometime soon. xxx
Socks, socks socks. I am hoping to knit more than last year. I am also knitting stuffies for my 8 sisters for our annual weekend away.
I always enjoy your podcasts - such fun projects and sweet friendships 💕 I have a number of goals this year - I want to knit a project for charity each month and I created 3 make 9 boards with a variety of knit and crochet projects - many of them gifts.
Thank you ladies. Amanda, I love the baby sweater. I am hoping to make the Bergman Sweater. I would like to work on colorwork. Best to you all, Karin
For years, I have wanted to knit The Billie Pullover by Sari Nordland. And for 2025, I decided that this is finally the year it will happen. So far, I have already split for sleeves and knit 6 inches on the body!
Another, per usual, great episode! My knitting goals this year are to fix a couple of sweaters (shortening sleeves, lengthening bodies etc) Fix it February! And to knit through the stash 🙄
My new goal is the blanket for the Berroco make a long, but I would also like to finish my long term Anthology Throw wip!
First time watching, not sure of each of your names yet but the woman in the middle with the gray sweater, omg you knit so fast
I have 3 goals for this year; knit my first cardigan, finish a tolsta tee that has been on the needles for almost a year, and participate in the Year of Gnomes by knitting one gnome a month.
My goal is to finish my jethro cardigan which is currently vacationing in sleeve island! And for each wip I finish I allow myself a new cast on from stash. Thanks for a fun podcast.
My goal is to make a cardigan for my husband. He chose black yarn so it's definitely going to be a labour of love to get it done!!
It’s always nice catching up with you ladies😊My goal for 2025 is to knit more socks for myself!
Beautiful yarn. I really want to make a Jethro cardigan this year. Love seeing all your lovely knits.
I made a make 9 board for nine of the WIPs I have! So, I think finishing some sweaters that I have started and love would be great. For example, I have all the rectangles for the heirloom cardigan made. I just need to seam them and knit the sleeves/ribbing.
My goal for this year is to actually knit up more of my handspun. I love to spin but haven’t really knit much of it. So looking for patterns to use single skeins of DK to worsted weight. I guess everyone will get hats for Christmas😊
I about to start the Meadow Sunset Wrap or the “Just sleeves” by Michelle Greenberg. Just mu arms get cold and I don’t want the bulk of a full sweater. Such beautiful yarn. Love watches your podcasts
Always nice to see your podcast pop up. I'll be finishing a 4th clubhouse hoodie (for my friend group for Rhinebeck)
and would love to come up with a colorwork sweater using stash.
My big goal for this year is to make an Advent tree for my grandbaby, a sewn Felt tree, 25 pockets, and am planning to knit the ornaments that get hung on the tree each day 😳
Hi- I have lots of WIP's to finish...however I have been meaning to make a popover (vest) for a while now, so that is high on my list!
I’ve had a lace cardigan sitting in time out for at least eight years. I’ve been planning to frog it and rewind the yarn (after soaking it to get rid of all the wrinkles) for the past two years. When that’s done, I plan to turn it into a Garden cardigan. In the mean time, I started a colorwork sweater for next winter and I have some Noro Akari that’s supposed to become a Bisect sweater for this spring. I also have some beautiful Neighborhood Fiber Co DK that’s I bought at Rhinebeck that’s looking for a pattern. So much to knit and so little time!
Happy new year, this is the year for Christmas sweaters for husband and sister, so 4 Christmas sweaters by December.
This year I would like to learn to make thrummed mittens . Love the framed cowl in the noro
I'd like to do more color work this year and maybe attempt a cardigan as I've never made one yet.
I have the yarn already for pressed flowers cardigan..gotta just finish some others projects first.😊
I would love to make a Marie Wallin Sweater. They are so inspiring.
I need more cardigans! Love your shows!
I am participating in Finishuary with my languishing polygon blanket (seaming together), Celestarium shawl(beaded) and the 2 colourwork yoke sweaters I started this month. Thanks! LoriAngela
I have 3 sweaters that I’d love to finish. Unfortunately, they were started in wool in CT and I’m now in FL and can’t even look at them. 😂
But I do want them off my needles.
Thanks for another great podcast. My goal is to make a first sweater. I also plan to work through The Sock Project book.
Great Episode Ladies. I want to knit a Felix Cardigan this year.
I have several sweater lots in stash I’d like to complete in 2025. At the top of my list is a basic cardigan I can throw on with everything.
Hope Gene is recovering well.
I really want to manage to make the year of gnomes. A gnome a month. Also as far as sweaters go this year stripes! By Andrea Mowry and pretty boxes by Cori of iroc knits. By the way only one of those are on my make nine board😂.
My goal this year is to make patterns that I bought years ago. I am also wanting to make a blanket. I am currently making the everyway shawl and it is a pattern I bought in 2017 ❤
New to you …. Love it …. 2025 is sweater year for me and socks socks and more socks 😊
Hi! When you were going through the La Bien Aimee yarns, towards the end, Amanda picked up a dark color and said it went with Jen's pick (Elise). But she didn't says what the color of the dark skein was or what the colorway is called. I want to. make a v-neck sweater this year.
My 2025 goals include finishing a tunisian crochet blanket (I've been working on it for a few years now), make one pair of adult socks per month, make a fingering weight cardigan, and the Gib I pullover.
I would like to knit sweaters for myself, especially with stash, most likely a Felix.. I think the cardigan, but have to look at sizing.
My goal for 2025 is to knit myself a sweater. I usually knit socks, but your podcast has really inspired me to make something larger and more challenging.
2025 knitting goal: One pair of socks per month. I wasn't interested into doing socks until last year but now I'm wondering what took me so long?! So I'm aiming to expand my hand knit sock wardrobe. January pair is ~75% done, Tosh sock in tacenda with contrast heels, toes, cuffs in Hopemade Isn't it Romantic (from Yarnia!). My first time doing an afterthought heel and it's my new favorite heel.
I want to make a sweater for my husband that is long enough. He is 6’2” and has a 31” in seam so all torso. When I do this one I just have to knit and not stop, maybe that will make it long enough.
color work mittens, my daughter keeps reminding me I promised her a pair.
I would like to knit a garment. I just have to find a very beginner, positive ease and figure out what size I need to make.
My goal for 2025 is to finish a pair of skeindeer mittens. ^^' I've wanted to make some for years, but I keep getting distracted by gift knitting, so 2025 is the year for *me* to get some knits from me. Hopefully a sweater or two for the nibblings as well.
Dare I say, I’m dreaming of a cabled pullover in Noir Wesley Worsted?🖤🖤🖤
I want to knit the Carbeth and finish my ladyfingers
My first goal is to finish my never ending story sweater before my baby bumb gets to big. After that I want to do a cardigan i can wear while breastfeeding but don't know what pattern I will use. And a lot of socks😊
Hi girls, I've subscribed. I love your channel. My goal for 2025 is to knit jumpers/sweaters. Hi I'm Ginny in Australia ❤❤❤
Katie Noseworthy has a pants pattern and other great patterns for babies and kids in her book "Newfoundland Knits for LIttle Ones." Everything in it is knitworthy. Amanda should not hold off knitting a sweater for himself.
My knitting goal for 2025 is to make socks, a Petite knit sweater for me and gifts for family. My comfort level needs to be challenged as I gear towards blankets, etc. God bless you all
Thanks for the info on moth prevention. Discovered holes in three (3!!!) hand knits recently, and now need to learn how to darn. Surprisingly, the three sweaters were all in Finull Garn. They didn’t touch my pricier knits or needlepoint. Love your podcast!
My goal for 2025 is to make sweaters for my daughters and to make myself a poncho
