@@yannispirou101Wasn't implied, it was out right omited in FF7 OG English translation. Ultimecia talks about the reason why the JP version gives him a Hick accent after Cosmo Canyon was to show his young age because they couldn't do it audibly.
The translation team didn't catch it and kept the speech as is through out. One of many many translation errors FF7 had

What makes this scene great is if you replay it with the knowledge you get later about red. You can picture why this goes great with reds charecter.

If you listen closely at 0:20 theres hints of the "It's Hard to Stand on Both Feet" theme from the original game, the scene where it plays being clearly referenced here.

@@Chokken97 Well, Perfume's composer Yasutaka Nakata is actually quite influencial in the JP techno/trance scene.
So I wouldn't be suprised if he inspired this Rebirth composer.
The bar They set for the Music in These games, the remake and rebirth is sky high. Amazing.

I just got to this part of the game, and I simply enjoyed the fact that Red did this to enter the tournament. The dance reminded me of what Dante did in DMC 5. This was funny, I loved it. 🤣
40 hours into the game and what hits me the most that they gave Suzuki-san so much room, must've been a field day his tracks are everywhere. And not a single one is out of place. I like it!

For some reason the original version of this track is one of my all time favourites. It's so goofy. I was genuinely apprehensive about how they'd work it into this game. But by God was I not disappointed...
They had to make this extra to make up for the lack of Sephiroth pelting Cloud with a mareria, floating upwards, front flipping and flying away 😆
Letting him win the match and tournament is funnier than beating him honestly
