They took Gus from the OG and turned him from a faceless jobber jerkweed with a green suit, to essentially a road warrior pimp with a theme that could make a persona villain jealous, and I'm here for it. This whole chapter made me smile.
Unexpectedly wholesome given how it kicked off. Gus would’ve gotten his gold teeth beat out if he’d tried to make good on any of his gross threats. But then you get into the town and it kinda gives you the idea it’s mostly an alright place with a lot of fun, weird, and passionate people around, even if they are rough as hell around the edges.
They really knocked all the towns out of the park, absolute masterpieces of world building and design.
Gus was so forgettable in the original that I forgot he was renamed from Mr. Coats there. I will not be forgetting this Gus anytime soon.
@@spiraljumper74 he tries to sell someone into sex slavery in one of the side quests.
Having the Test-0's also TALK doing this fight was a treat, including that they'll randomly roll over using the "Why did you go and do that?!" line based off of their debug text. Honestly it's such a deep cut of lore to add I just couldn't help but smile at "Developer Oversight".
This whole section was such a great treat, I wasn't expecting the hidden/secret room to be an underground battleground.

Well, Remake won back in 2020. I have high hopes that this will easily snag the Best Soundtrack award this year.

Relax, when the Remake came out a few months later they released the "OST PLUS", Rebirth soundtrack is much longer in comparison, so it was logical some songs would be missing

Lol 🤣 I love X-2's soundtracks especially Wind Crest ~ Three Trails from FFX-2 Last Mission, such an underrated track--Noriko Matsueda and Takahito Eguchi gave it their all for the track list for X-2.
X2 is underrated as heck. So many fun jams in that game.

Gus might be a prick and piece a shit, but man square made him such a fun and great character, hes like a Corneo 2.0. Hope to see him and Corneo interacting together on FFVII part 3

The Soundtrack released today! However I did not find this one or maybe I missed it? Because if its not there then probably on the "OST PLUS" version along with some of the Crisis Core tracks in the Gongaga region that played..
This would fit perfectly as a Sonic the Hedgehog boss theme. Preferably one where Sonic has to chase Robotnik while avoiding obstacles.

@@kyothiqIt's at the Dustbowl in the Settlement Ground Level area. The NPC there would bring you into the Desert Rush minigame where you destroy boxes.
