Another amazing demo from the Mutya Keisha Siobhán sessions that did not make the final cut for their 'Lost Tapes' album.

Why didn't they take this beyond a demo? Maybe I'm crazy but to my ears this sounds like a potential hit?
maybe too young-ish for them... their music is growing to a more mature side and this has katy perry written all over it

There are so many songs recorded during the MKS sessions (around 60 I think) and a lot of them are bangers BUT it’s very important that we hear the music as they intended which is probably why they might not want to release more from that era.
Love this , mutya's vocals are absent but this is a definite pop banger , hoping their next (NewAlbum) has a bit more uplifting pop tracks that showcases the 3 of their fab voices
Her vocals are in the back ground the low notes and in the bridge

Summer of 99 sounds like it was made for little mix or another “shout-the-chorus” girl group.

no way summer of 99 is one of their best! but definitely would have liked this on there too. Really wish their 'I lay down' was that remixed version though, it was so much better. Even if they had to take out the guys vocals.

It just doesn’t sound nice to me.., almost feels like it would have suited the lineup around 2006-2010.
It would have been very expensive to feature the Kendrick Lamar remixed version on their album.

I really like summer of 99,but I feel the final version on the album doesn't quite work. As such, I always listen to the demo! Chorus doesn't sound right somehow on the album version

This to me sounds like it could be on a movie soundtrack. Didn't Sugababes also have a track called "Wait For You" under the Heidi, Amelle and Jade line-up?
Can we get a re recorded version of 3 members of this ... i like the feel good factor of this song .. starting to get bored of the ballads X
People are looking for Mutya but Keisha is hardly in this either? The demo singer does definitely a good job mimicking her voice and style on the verse and prechorus though, and I'm pretty sure it's at least Keisha and Siobhan on the chorus.

No. Demo singer. I think Keisha and Siobhan wrote the song without her and made a demo first
Too similar to Summer of 99 is probably why it didn’t make the cut, this is far cheesier/younger probably didn’t fit the vibe they wanted
