@@rangariraikunedzimwe2780 Mutya's voice isn't 'raspy' per se like T-Boz's, it's thick. Like Pink, Lauryn Hill or Keyshia Cole. But It does have a nice husk to it though at times

Siobhan vocal performance is outstanding and this version done LIVE is far superior than the studio version..Really shows what Siobhan adds to the group and the vocal blend is better with the original 3 that grew up as friends together and started the group.

Their voices were meant to be together. Not to dismiss Heidi's contributions to the group, but her live vocals really did not do the group harmonies justice. This is how it should've been. It's just right.

Keisha gives me chills here, but its Mutya's voice that always holds the group together. She proves a foundation for Siobhan and Keisha's higher, wider ranges.

I’m all for the original line up and I’m thrilled that they are back together. But I do feel the need to “put some respect” on Heidi’s name. People can be so cruel when commenting. Heidi has been a member since 2001 and was together with Mutya and Keisha responsible for the big hits and all the accolades. So please lets NOT degrade Heidi, she does not deserve that kind of treatment.
She isn't a good singer though and added nothing to the group apart from the "look", I guess. Love Siobhan back.
I agree Heidi did allot and was a big part of it. Siobhan is amazing but feels new and original at the same time which is amazing. The girls have warmed to her allot too

man, Siobhan's voice during her parts flows along better than when Heidi sang it. It also sounds like she's attempting to add a bit of Heidi's style in her voice just so listeners can be familiar but she still sounds like her own distinct voice.

I REALLY WISH MKS would release like a greatest hits album and re-record all the Sugababes classics with Siobhan. It probably won't happen but I love Siobhan on these songs. I've never been a Heidi fan her voice is too screechy.
Ah bless Heidi to be fair she did help bring Sugababes' golden age, but it's just a shame Siobhan wasn't there.

I'd love for an album reprising the Sugababes tunes with vocals from Siobhan, who was there for the first album only to be fair, and done with respect to Heidi's vocals. SB1(MKS) was great, SB2 (MKH) was great too, and SB3 (AKH) was also great. Poor Jada didn't get lucky, but bless her, she did her job 👍.
All in all, there should be a way for all to exist. Perhaps, even, to try to bring them all together? 😬 Could it be tried?
@@Indy_21 I think the first four (Mutya, Keisha, Siobhan, Heidi) would stay true to the original feel. The later girls were talented in their own way but too mainstream.

This just highlights that Heidi isn't a great singer. She is a GOOD singer, but Siobhan sounds infinitely better singing the same song.

Why unnecessarily hate on Heidi? Like I get it, the gays soil themselves over this line up but Heidi was essential to their commercial appeal and brought in a contrasting tone. This video only proves evident. Siobhan may have "sang" it better but there is no emotive power to her voice... in this performance.

What is even sadder is that Mutya and Siobhan had been established even before kiesha existed. I Respect her for walking away, her talent had been cut short from a really young age. however some of her singles on her own album has had some success.

it would really be the best if MKS included a few of each of their solo songs, along with SBabes songs that they didn't do together originally. that would really appeal to a greater audience, an extended fan base. their harmonies are heavenly.
When Mutya hears Siobhan sing on this song, she looks like she's about to cry. Watch her nose twitch. This song felt like Mutya finding her feet as a songwriter, and I loved the original. But it sounds kinda right now, and its like Mutya has just realised who its about.
This song is about the father of Mutya's child... but I'll agree with you that this track was an incredible effort from Mutya as a songwriter and this version is the most superior version to date.

Siobhan's voice here is incredible. I can see both sides for the Heidi thing but imo when she orchestrated 4.0 she killed all their chances of being successful. I think this line up are now the longest running version of the Sugababes.

Not usually a pop/chart fan - but Sugarbabes were an exception. I think this was the best line-up vocally - but the best material was released during the Mutya/Keisha/Heidi lineup. This song was from that 2nd Sugarbabes lineup. Someone further down the comments said they wish the original line-up here could re-record the great material released after Siobhan left. Highly unlikely to happen - but would love to hear it - but it would need all that great musicianship and production too.

I don't think Heidi is a bad singer really... I thought she did just uhh fine. But she never seemed like a Sugababe in the sense of writing songs or driving the direction of the band, ya know? She was always kinda the 2nd class citizen. Not really her fault. That said, Siobhan just vocally murdered her without raising an eyebrow.
