Whoa! The imagery of Ashfur using Bramble's pelt like a wolf in sheep's clothing is so amazing and unique!
I really like the idea of in the beginning Squirrelflights eyes are closed, making her look petite and beautiful while also showing how Ashfur is blind to the truth and how to properly express love. This changes at the fire scene where her eyes are wide open and clearly angered showing a more ragged and worn down appearance also expressing the truth: how Squirrelflightisn't just something for Ashfur to Obsess over. Just a little detail I like :)

I love how the background changes. At first it was pink when Ashfur loved Squirrelflight. Then it turned gray-blue, when Ashfur changed and became evil. There’s so much attention to detail and I love it
This song was MADE for ashfurs arc. The style of the animation was so wonderful - I love the way ashfur wears bramblestar’s pelt. I’ve seen a few people talk about the symbolism of bramble giving squirrelflight a squirrel/ holding a squirrel in his mouth. I think it’s maybe a brief visual of brambles own abuse of her? I thought it was a nice touch 🥰

i kind of imagine that hawkfrost envied and despised brambleclaw
like, tigerstar invited bramblclaw to come to shadowclan as an apprentice, but was dead before hawkfrost knew him
and i feel he knew brambleclaw was going to wimp out on taking over all the clans, which grew his bitterness towards his halfbrother
which then made him take advantage of ashfur to help make brambleclaw kill firestar
after that didnt work, he was just tired of things not going his way and tried to kill brambleclaw

Poor squirrelflight, she deserved better! Even though she didn’t love ashfur, she still showed friendship and affection towards him, though he wanted more. He needed to accept the fact that the world doesn’t orbit around him, and though he didn’t get exactly what he wanted, he got what he deserved, (love as a friend from Squirrelflight) and he should be happy about it. Okay ashfur, life sucks sometimes but you gotta suck it up and move on!!

This has to be my top favorite design for imposter BrambleStar, I know it's small but the detail with his mouth showing just beneath the fake pelt when he puts down the flower is my favorite panel.
There’s something so elegant about this style, like the eyes are gorgeous and even the blood looks pretty

I know, but that was after he got rejected. Before that, he was a genuinely nice guy with enough built up rage inside that one push of a button could make him explode. I think if Squilf did choose him, she might have numbed the pain. Maybe.

I thought the part of bramblestar and squilf where he has a squirrel in his mouth might symbolize something but my brain can't think of a good theory

BrambleStar was extremely horrible to her in the books and treated her poorly, maybe thats what it means?
It symbolizes him treating her as prey, and the moment he gave it to her was symbolizing when he acted like a good mate.
I love how imposter bramble does the exact same moves as ashfur vs how bramble approached squirrelflight!!

just a small detail I noticed, but Squirrelflight's eyes are supposedly closed up until the fire scene. I find this a great resemblance of her association with Ashfur, as it makes it seem like she finally "Opened her eyes" and saw Ashfur's true intentions in his final living moments before he'd ultimately possess Bramblestar.
I love how you showed Bramblestar’s impostor! The way impostor Bramblestar circles Squirrelflight with flowers just like Ashfur did really portrays this! Squirrelflight notices it too, she’s pretty disturbed lol.
