hello warrior cats community!!!!! i heard this song and associated it really strongly with holly, so i tossed this together in about a month. it’s the first pmv ive made in...four? years so it’s got its flaws, but im really happy with it :] i hope someone out there likes it too.
for clarification: the “magical clam”, who takes its form as a ghostly version of hollyleaf, is meant to represent holly’s conscience. this is mostly so it fits the song- no one told holly to kill ashfur, she just mistakenly believed that killing him would solve her problems. the clam isn’t a new character or anything, just a version of hollyleaf!
song is the daughter of the fish and the ram by the scary jokes. i own nothing but the art & editing in this video.

this is a weird thing to say, but I wish Hollyleaf had raised that fox cub, as a way to learn that you can still be loved even if you are adopted, through her own experience.

dude. imagine if when hollyleaf found out she was half clan. she DIDNT murder ashfur, then he told the clans and crowfeather took pity on her, so she left thunderclan and went to windclan and like her and breezepelt became best buddies since they both have horrible, wrecked lives and parents. and breezefur never turned evil and they like got along with their dad.

As a foster kid who was lied to about not being adopted, I hate Hollyleaf. But this animatic makes me like her a bit more. You didn't make her purely a victim in this, and you portrayed her needing ti take responsibility. I really like it :)
Ok- i love this, literally only one scene of the fire i feel like not only does it just capture all of hollyleaf but like, ive seen so many fire pmvs and tbh i dont mind them but it’s absolutely wonderful to see something like this!

i love how hollyleaf's fur is in the shape of holly leaves and how fallen leaves has wings it's adorablee
and i love how at 4:00 both jayfeather and lionblaze have shining stars on their heads to show they're a part of the three but hollyleaf just has a gray broken one

I absolutely love this! The storytelling of having the clam basically being her conscience is a really cool idea, and that it leads to both her best and worst decisions (both killing Ashfur, and running away, which while not great overall, was ultimately what Holly needed, to destress and be away from clan life). Not to mention, that I am in awe that you knocked out a 6 and a half minute pmv, like w h a t ? that's *nuts,* mad respect!
I'd also like to take a quick second to talk about the character designs! Holly's fur having holly leaf edges is such a neat idea, and I love the little freckles as well! And while only appearing briefly, I really liked Leaf, Jay, and Lion's designs as well! Specifically Leaf, idk why, but something about her design is just so pleasing to the eye.
Anyway, main point is, this is fantastic! I look forward to seeing more of your work :D

This was absolutely captivating. I usually get easily distracted but I watched this whole thing. This was so stunning and I could never make a 6 minute pmv. Im currently working on a 3 minute pmv and its already taken me a few months and I haven't even finished the storyboard. Youre so talented and this is criminally underrated!
