So my 07 hyundai has been running hot air for a while now. Just haven't gotten around to dealing with it. But I went out there and opened up the low side and pressed the valve, all i got was air. Didn't seem like any refrigerant came out or anything else. What does that mean?
Hey RB! My 07 Santa Fe suddenly stopped blowing cold overnight. Clutch engages but i did notice a lot of green oily substance on the bottom of the compressor. Could the compressor have a leak but the clutch still engage? I cleaned it up but havnt noticed any new oil coming out since. I also had very high pressure on the low side when i checked it the other day.
Ok so the ac compressor has safty valve when pressure goes too high it will shoot it out right under somewhere on ac compressor so this could be due to Too much pressure Air pressure System tooo hot maybe ur fans are not working Ac compressor running all times jammin pressure

Check ur fuse and relay swap the relay if it got one also put it on high speed see if it works on high. Also. Put key on accessories then put blower speed on high and check to see if it got power and ground in the main connector

U might have low Freon in ac system also if u have dual climat temp control system it can be one side blend door motor not working to turn to cold side so if it’s not dual system check ac pressure other wise check both

@@bcs6640 what is the fault your having maybe we can discuss it a bit fuse can go out for other reason such is short circuit too much load or like this situation with customer
@@bcs6640 ok I’m guessing ur using cans to put Freon in which is bad idea if ur system is working then it might just have air pressure which shows u green there for it would be best to go and have to service by mechanic shop with ac machine before u do anything else

Check your blower motor fuse and relay and put the speed on high to test it and use test light to see if there’s power and ground in blower motor connector
Check blend door motor … also some times it can be low Freon and only part of evaporator core will get cold and it will only send cold air to that portion
My Hyundai Santa Fe 2001 stopped blowing any air or heat. I found out it was my blower switch (the thing you turn from low to high speeds) It was fixed for a few days then my ac fuse blew I replaced it and it started working again. Few days later fuse blew again. I replaced it again but it did not fix it that time 😩😩 Please help me with some ideas to check out. Thanks in advance 🙌

This might be the issue with my daughters car then , because we just changed the air compressor and it worked just fine for a couple weeks and then suddenly stopped.

@@daniellerobinson4108 u have to trace down the leak if it keeps leaking I have videos on how to find ac leaks with uv dye add it to the system then it will show with ultra violet light and repair the fix instead of keep charging it’s also bad for our planet 🌎 to keep release the refrigeration in to the air
If the Compressor Clutch keeping is constantly engaged even without turning on AC or Fan... Does it mean the something is wrong with the Relay or Fuse?
@@RBTheMechanic checked all switches... Everything was off and still the compressor cluth kept spinning. A few months back had topped up the refrigerant and it had slightl cooling which lasted only a month. Right now it only blows warm air... right after the engine warms up. No drop in temperature whatsoever.
@@viralsv3767 I would need to see if clutch spins with everything off can u make a small video and put it on ur utube account It could be stuck relay u can try switching and then check somthing is commanding the ac compressor to come on other than that u need to add uv dye to system and check for leaks

Check ur alternator voltage it could be possable low voltage once’s u drive the rpm go up and alternator spin faster more power

That might be due to low Freon so do ac service propperly tho use ac machine to recover, vaccum then recharge

It might be bad ac compressor also how ru adding Freon? Ru vacuuming the system?
I vacuum ac system for like an hour than added free on from a 30LB fre on tank
