You make it looks so fun and EASY!! Thank you so much for sharing your imagination and methods with us all. I have a new grandchild on the way, a new machine and not a lot of experience with quilts. I do have an adorable panel i bought for the new baby’s first handmade quilt from granny, but wasn’t sure what i wanted to do with it.my imagination needed some jump starting on how to ideas. Thanks for the wonderful easy project idea! God bless you , and please keep the videos coming, haha. It is much better than watching the depressing stuff on other channels.

Thanks again Laura. I learn something new with every tutorial of yours that I watch. I especially like your. Detailed tips. Ie the 3 benefits of the flannel sheet underneath, the explanation of the size of border to cut AND what causes the stitch to skip from the adhesive. I have learned so much from your tutorials!! Thanks so much!!! Very cute blanket idea! I am SO going to make this for my new grandson. 😍

You may not see this Laura as this is an older video but this reminded me I would love a video about different sizes of machine needles and what to use for what. How to tell what's already on your machine.

Your videos are just awesome! Thank you for all the hard work you put in on them. You are a great teacher and each one of your videos is chock-full of great tips. I've been sewing for 50 years and still enjoy learning new tips, thank you so much!! Definitely going to get out some of the baby quilt panels I've got stashed and complete them much faster now.

Wahoo! I have been searching and searching for over a week to find a way to make my grandchildren some blankets without batting. You have saved me! Mine will need to be a little larger than a baby quilt, but the finished products will be the same. Perfect for each of them. Thank you so much.

Wow! I needed that last week. I made a flannel and cuddle fleece baby quilt. It was slipping everywhere. So I used 220 safety pins to pin it (it wouldn't have dared move after that). By the time I was done fighting it, I was tired so in between each little Batman logo I stitched a little circle that my machine does that actually is for tiny buttons. You know I have spray, and always forget to use it.

Did you pre-wash the fabric panel? Just asking since the backing is 100% poly and I am assuming the front panel is 100% cotton. Wondering how it washes up. Not ever done this method. Like the easy of making this up. Good practice for free motion.

Hi Laura, I would like to know something about the drawing of the lines around the panels. I noticed that the 1st mark is slightly bigger than the panel. So , when you draw the line for the 2" , do you measure from the panel or from the 1st line that you drew?

I don't have a sewing machine, so I hand sew everything. I have hand shewn baby dresses, and cloth dolls, but I have never hand sewn a quilt before. I would like to use batting for the quilt I want to make, but I am afraid it will be too frustrating to hand sew batting into a quilt. Do you think this will be an issue, so I shouldn't use batting? Or am I just being paranoid?
