Sure did! Can't wait to hear the new songs live. Going to multitrack every channel too so we don't have to rely on just the stage mix. Determined to get that bass pumping through in the mix this time. We've finally recovered the multitracks for these earlier shows too and are hoping to work with the band to remix the audio for them too, so look out for those as well.
Many year ago I saw Karnivool at Ruby's in Belgrave, Victoria ...it was soo friggin loud you could hear it all through the hills but damn it sounded good!
@@ninjabassonline I would give anything to see them at Sooki now that I live in FTG. Would have been awesome to see them up in the hills (last time I had to drive down to Frankston to see them)
Saw these guys in Bunbury on May 24th for my birthday and fuck me they were insane. Got to meet the guitarist and lead singer as well both really cool dudes. Now back in cold UK wishing I was back in Perth! Peace
Think for Yourself - Question Authority Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities - the political, the religious, the educational authorities - who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing - forming in our minds - their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable open-mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability to inform yourself.
Дмитрий Румянцев ofc.....there is TooL influence..Tool is one of the greatest bands of our age. But while Tool's been 10 yrs doing shit these guys made 3 totally different and awesome albums.
I would LOVE your BAND come to ALABAMA AND THE SOUTHERN UNITED STATES and BLOW IT UP. I'M THE MUSH ON TWITTER AND AM TRYING TO CREATE NEW ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY WITHOUT HELP OF HOLLYWOOD. LOVE TO HERE SOMETHING BACK. AMERICA HASN'T APPRECIATED YOUR MUSIC. THEY LIKE BS ANTHEM MUSIC.
+Tool APC Have you heard the song before? The bass is the backbone of this song, if he was less present the whole song would fall flat, as the guitar kind of flutters around that beastly bass tone. This whole album is driven by strong bass and drum presence.
Absolutely! I love Karnivool and I love the bass lines but even as a bass player myself I have to say the bass is way too forward in the mix. Shame they can't get a decent sound engineer - I had to walk out of one of their gigs the sound was so god awful. It actually sounded better outside the gig FFS
This is such a complicated tune for an opener, their sound guy deserves a beer…..it’s fun When the camera ops don’t know who’s actually playing the lead….. Like when Motörhead was on The Young Ones…
The sound of that bass is unbelievable. Its like a train is coming...
Not many will comprehend the truth.
That bass tone does things to me
Warwick bass tone is the baddest on the planet
@@Unklechopchop Warwick and Darkglass
Just discovered this band… I feel robbed! They’re fucking amazing!!
Love that bass, love those drums, love those textured guitar layers, love those vocals, love the lighting, love that crowd!!!

That bass is full heccas bra yeeeew love this band
What a song! What a band!!!
This ian kenny looks very focused and out of the hyped spirit he always is, whatever Ian is amazing
damn, that bass
anybody ever notice the drums at the break around 4:11 sounds very similar to led zeppelin When the levee breaks?
It's an extremely common beat in rock music dude.
Dude I know.. it is TOO similar to go unnoticed .
Listen to the original. It's exactly When the Levee Breaks. They intended that feel.
Pretty sure it's actually a sample... Steve played it on a sample pad a few times when I saw em
That bass
Karnivool, you got a new fan in germany! :)
I fucking love Karnivool, but as a sound engineer myself, I must say that who ever mixed this show didn't do a great job.
No kidding, great band, horrible mix
Many year ago I saw Karnivool at Ruby's in Belgrave, Victoria ...it was soo friggin loud you could hear it all through the hills but damn it sounded good!
He's actually a gun, it is however a shit room & an outsourced video production focused primarily on visual components.
Added the fact that Drew's guitar cuts out before the overture of the song, whoever was working the board that day dropped the ball.

TRETA DEMAIS!
Fucking bass man is brutal!
I FUCKING WISH I WAS THERE AMAZING BAND!!!!
No one else noticed that the drummer's samplepad wasnt hooked up at 4:10ish so he had to play the beat on his acoustic drums instead?
This is how you fucking welcome at a show!!!
5:28 is probably the best part.
joder, van a hacer tour por europa, pero me pilla lejos de donde vivo, en la república de la cerveza
el sentimiento se comparte :D

are you trying to say that they are tool ripoff ?
Ka-bar I think it's tool's influence, not ripoff. And I'm not saying it's bad.

Ka-bar Think for Yourself - Question Authority =)
..Tool ? I thought everything I read in the original post was an analysis of the lyrics.
i love that bass tone when it kicks in @ 1:55. trying to figure out what distortion he's using.
Darkglass Alpha Omega
Pretty sure he uses a blend of the boss bass overdrive here. It has that narly sound
That tone.

The bass sound is too much present...

+Tool APC suppose to be that way mano....
+Halloween Please... I know ! i have all album of this amazing band! Just said the mix is not really the same than the album. I can't hear the guitar.
Yeah Nah, the mix is shit.
