Great band's marching. I was at Woolwich barracks in summer of 1980s remember walking up the hill from Woolwich arsenal train station. Station. How so much has changed

Always brings back memories of hours drilling around the square at Pirbright! With the dubious privilege of being the right marker, as the tallest, and getting a flea in my ear from the Colour Sergeant whenever I got us out of position 😂 They were good old days, really!

Really great video thank you. So great to see, such rare details captured in the band as well, stopping and catching up, the little signals about obstacles, and such a lovely day. Where is everybody?? The place is absolutely deserted? In Woolwich?

There were many more people behind the band at the artillery barracks which is out of shot of the camera!

      Pride was today!

The event was at 0930 in the morning and not very well advertised. As someone who lives in the town I saw no prior advertising of a parade other than an article on the council website. Sad that so few people turned out to watch. Hopefully it will have a far greater digital audience through this video! It has been the first parade in Woolwich since the Royal Artillery disbandment parade 10 years ago in 2014 I am lead to believe!

The London Pride parade was also today although this would have unaffected the amount of possible footfall attending this parade that took place many hours before the pride one even started to assemble. The event in barrack field attracted thousands during the day.

I don't know where this is but it looks so depressing, I think everyone is taking medication to forget where they live, grand job by the band but what happened to those who were following
