I would recommend keeping it sealed. I have actually opened one before because I got some extra money hanging. Somehow, I was able to pull two Hyper Rares, Roaring moon ex and Counter Catcher but no Alt Art and I was pretty salty about it. The most expensive card I got out of it was Iron Hands ex which will dip in price when SV is no longer the current gen as this card's value solely relies on TCG usability.
Very informative tier list, one thing though, do you really think obsidian flames is f tier? Over the long run wouldn't fan favorites like charizard, ninetails and pigeot draw the attention of future collectors?
I think you can use Charizard into some extend, they overburned it. If you put a Charizard in every set, people will just get tired of ir and Obsidian flames is the perfect example of that. Maybe the negativity of the set goes away on the future tho

Yes, although I don’t have any sources of confirmation it is getting reprinted, the restock of the distributors is minimal and has been eaten up already
I think Stellar Crown will be good for play ability wise, but idk if it'll be good for long-term investing but I think you're right. We won't know for sure until it's official release.

A lot of people rank twilight low, but I completely agree with you that it deserves the S tier. Considering the let down people feel for shrouded fable and the okay cards from stellar miracle, I sense that more people will be buying twilight thus increasing the price of the booster box

Hmm, this is an interesting take. It sort of follows the price points that the various sets are at right now, while predicting stellar crown and shrouded fable to not do as well! Stellar miracle (JP set), has done amazingly well. I'd be surprised if some of the hype didn't carry over for stellar crown.
I Never got a booster box so it seems very nice if i can win the giveaway i have the alt art moltres from the set its wan of my favoriete sets i love your videos i watch them all

I’ve seen some people try to put a lot of emphasis on “total value” of the cards in the set to also help try to build a tier list, what are your thoughts on that? Doesn’t feel like a great methodology to me but curious what your thoughts are!! :)
@@epav228 It is a way of looking at it, I think the value of the cards matters on the booster box price for sure, but there are a lot of things more that matter. It is a good point tho, but as the time passes, the price of the cards inside is less and less important
It depends on the quantity, for low quantity cardmarket is still the best when you are looking to get heavy supplies then you can look at other direct distributors that sell to stores and stuff
Twilight masquerade has 2 cards. Greninja and eevee. I don’t believe anyone likes all the random DLC trainers as much as they say they do. Perrin, Carmen, Kieran, or whatever. The 6 other sir cards suck: ursaluna, sinistcha and ogerpons . Set is extremely hyped.
I started collecting again a couple months ago, last time was when I was a kid. Asked an employee to tell me between Obsidian Flames and Silver Tempest which is the best to start with and he didn’t knew.. So I went with Obsidian Flames… 50+ packs later I have only 1 hit, the Pidgey art…
If you want to just collect and open packs, I would recommend sets with super nice pull rates like Brilliant Stars, crown zenith or paldean fates mate!

Got a paradox rift booster box for $80 yesterday my first ever booster box purchase you helped make me commit to it

It is an ok price, have seen some for 60 maybe look for personal sellers but you should be ok on the long run

Yes, although I don’t have any sources of confirmation it is getting reprinted, the restock of the distributors is minimal and has been eaten up already
