Luke asking the English name and then defending it was the wildest thing i think ive ever heard in a pokemon video.
Most if not all legendaries/mythicals have one universal name, so he would have always known the Shaymin was there regardless of the language he picked. However, a more fair question would be "From left to right, what are the [any non english language] names of these 3 Pokemon?" If nothing has a universal name then its a pure gamble if you don't recognize any of them.
You're thinking too much, he asked for the English name which means every name is going to be the original name they have always been in English...
And Pat asking "hat pokemon would dylan pick" as if he wouldn't just pick the best one was bullshit as well

Patterz said in one of his videos they don't roll it on a specific mon anymore. They roll 6 random abilities and then choose which Pokemon get them. Luke even said this at 18:15 when he had to give Heatran Earth Eater.

Intimidate has been one of the best abilities since abilities were added to the game.
I've been saying for years we need a special version of intimidate called psyche out I think it may be better than intimidate

An idea for a then we fight. Both people catch pokemon that satisfy the conditions for the daily pokedoku. Whoever gets a better score on pokedoku with their caught pokemon gets a perk.

Banger idea - there is the chance that certain slots correspond only to Pokémon that aren't in SV, but chances are at least 6/9 will have usable options

@@Hoysoy4141, I misread my calculator. I utilized the VGC 2024 Reg G Assault Vest Incineroar set and the VGC 2024 Reg G Bulky Attacker Kingambit and, somehow, they both had 85 Speed (I chose those sets because they'd be the likeliest to be similar to normal spreads for them).

I feel like intimidate would win over contrary solely due to consistency intimidate will always work (unless an ability prevents) but with contrary you have to be able to set up and also pray they don’t use any debuff moves cause one screech and your screwed

The Tauros Jumpluff Tauros made me think of something from Xenoblade Chronicles 1. There is a unique monster (they are kinda like optional bosses) called Trainer Harmelon that is a Tirkin (basically a large sentient chicken) flanked by two Ardun (sorta like giant wild bulls)

Thought it might be a cool idea to have some kind of video where your pick also affects your opponents pokemon,
For example you pick a pokemon, but then the next person to pick will get to use the ability of the pokemon you picked.
The first picked pokemon could then get the ability of your opponents last picked pokemon.
The Thing with the names totally reminded me of the Movie "sword in the stone" where Merlin and Madam Mim had a magic battle and she said in the rules "nothing like purple dragons" and then proceeded to shapeshift into a pink dragon bc she only said no purple dragons specifically XD
