@@duckjive1 Yours is great too. I enjoy the England games especially. Bit disappointed not more of the LFC v THFC from November 1982 was shown. Any chance you have the Milk Cup game from October 1984? Every face in our support was there that night.
Footy was better when it was less tactical and technical. It relied more on raw power and skill. Tonights game (Liv 0 Arsenal 0) is a sad artefact of modern footy. Players not having the ability to beat a man, teams playing horrible low blocks and negative football.
I am firmly in the old days camp and I think I understand your comment but Stoke in this game came to defend and never tried to attack even at 1 - 0. And then the following season played so many men in defence that the media and Fagan criticized them. European cup finals were a rare televised treat but were all dull as was European games in general
Must have been weird for Sammy McIlroy and Mickey Thomas both former United players to be wearing kits (for Stoke) that were almost identical to Man City's!
As Jimmy Tarbuck would say: Dalglish once threw a dummy and sent the Kop the wrong way. Thanks Dave.
"Bob we want you to walk down the corridor for the cameras"
"Jeez, Ronnie, Joe - just getting this palaver over with"
More evidence of Dalglish's genius. What a footballing brain!
Thanks
WALLER LEGEND DAVE IS !! YNWA
the club should employ him. The club should be doing this. They did a terrible job with history stuff over the years.

You sure. A bunch of guys just kicking it into the air. Barely any football being played and all 4-4-2.
