Awesome presentation, easy to follow and practice. May i ask, how about if I want more than one criteria not to be returned e.g. vp or director NOT Assistant NOT Associate? Would that be a correct search criteria?

One question - I'm currently on the free plan but my boolean search gave me lots of results, but I can't connect with them. Do I need to be on the paid plan, or do they need to be in my 2nd/3rd network somehow? (I don't have many followers yet as I'm just dipping my toe in to LinkedIn!) x 😘

One question I have though. I’m trying to use this to search through posts to find leads for my role, I’m a BDM for a manager tech company in the UK.
My search is - recommend AND (voip OR telecoms OR telephony OR “IT support” OR “business mobile”)
For some reason I’m getting posts with just support or mobile but not the exact phrase of IT support. Why might this be?

The search is correct superstar and I'm sure the "IT support" people are somewhere on page 10 (or page 50) 😉 If you want to specially see the IT peeps, just shorten your search to -> recommend AND “IT support” and then will show ✌️
Hi Vendy...thanks for your video! I am wondering if you would be able to explain to me why I seem to continually have an issue while using AND in my searches. Ex.- I have entered digital AND content in my search. I am getting included profile results that only have the word content, and do not include the term digital as well. This happens to me constantly when I search using AND, I get results that include only one of the words I need. Thanks in advance!
Hey Stacey - your search is correct, so what's most likely happening is that the word "digital" is hiding somewhere on the profile. Take a closer look at the skills section, experience section or recommendations. I often find keywords hiding there 🙂
What about searching by date range and/or specifying a sort order for the results?

But those that I excluded still appear on the search.
That's too many "NOT" operators 😊 Try this:

Why you didn't use quotation with mom and pregnancy??

From above search query why I am gettting all HR Business Partners in results where I wanted to avoid them! Please help.
The search looks correct to me, tho unfortunately the "NOT" operator does not always work properly on LinkedOn 🤷♀️
