I moved out to Washington a few years back. Last year my wife and I went to a few Seattle Thunderbird games (WHL) and made a point of going when Prince George was in town. Before the game we were having dinner near the arena and at the table next to us were 3 guys, 2 of them wearing Riley Heidt jersey's. I asked them if they were the Riley Heidt fan club... Turns out it was his grandfather, uncle and dad. I was wearing a Wild jersey and explained that my wife were Minnesota transplants and had drove into town to see Riley play that night. They were OVER THE MOON!
They could have just thanked us for coming up and told us to enjoy our evening. Nope! Riley's dad asked for my number and insisted that I come and meet him after the game. Riley is a savage on the ice, but a kind and humble dude off of it. He comes from great people! We got a good one!!
