The Belgian one at 0:40 makes me laugh. I like it, but to an English speaker, “nieuws” looks like a horrific misspelling of “news” that pops on to the screen with a gong like a jump scare, it’s brilliant
It's cuz both languages are very similar [if you go deep into that]. Flemish version of Dutch [Zuid-Nederlands] is less influenced by other languages than normal modern Dutch. However, regarding Dutch-English there was a long time ago a video of Frisian farmer talking to Englishman [same germanic family of languages] " Talking to a Frisian farmer in Friesland with Old English" you will be amazed how much you can understand, although the pronunciation and spelling is different. :)
0:50 I always thought that the Bulgarian broadcaster's logo was a stroke of genius in its simplicity. Cyrillic letters "B" and "T" arranged to form a tekevision aerial, as well as the abbreviation for "Bâlgarska Televizija". 😊
Hey, I always liked this logo of BT before but the logo could be read as BNT too (the name was changed after the political changes in the end of the 80s) which makes it even more clever. The logo was changed to the current one very recently, only in 2018. So for 59 years BNT had the same style of emblem. I have no idea why they changed the logo because the previous one was very cool. The current one is kinda generic tbh. B(N)T had another logo which was a mixture between a TV screen and the number one. This is still happening and the current BNT has 2 logos too - one for the normal broadcasting and another one for the more formal broadcast. Fun fact about BNT is that one of the buildings (the first one) where it lies was originally an Italian school which was constructed so massive that it's undergrounds were used as a bunker in WW2?
A friend worked for the BBC on its main news programme. He semi-retired and went to work for a regional ITV station and found it challenging to compile a 30 minute local news programme each evening as (a) there was little going on and (b) the budget didn’t allow it. He left in a state of depression.

I really like the compilation. There is a detail with the spanish TVE intro in 7:31, because that introduction was used between 1977 and probably 1978. Apart from that, very good video.
If someone asked what came to mind when I hear the words “tv news” it is nearly exactly what I think of - just needs more clacking of a teletypewriter in the background 😄
You finally found a general version of DT intro? It was frequently branded as "Dziennik" in 1970's and 1980's, with "Dziennik Telewizyjny" was used as a secondary name.
Rúv - Fréttamyndir utan úr heimi - it translates to "News images from abroad", more or less the correct translation. Rúv started broadcasting in colour in the year 1976.
