I'm sorry if there're some editing mistakes!
PTV from Pakistan not Saudi
Where is India? I didn't find that India🇮🇳💀
33:40 It's not Anhui tv news but cctv2 news
Where is the Philippines?! You could have referenced RPN 9 Newswatch with Harry Gaser
the only REAL thing i noticed is in 27:17 you didn't add translation. it is translated as New Evening. for Mabat it is looking for translate
22:42 caught me off guard
Yeah why is he naked
@@darvin-kw7stidk
@@darvin-kw7stIDK, and WHY would they show that?
@@theredytperits a parody
@@BittFijiFlagProdThat caught me off guard as well. Lol.
I like how the logos are sorted here by continent. They make a specific country easier to find (unlike iridumic where he does nato, warsaw pact/csto, and then the nonaligned world)
A piece of trivia: The soundtrack of Jornal da Manchete was composed by one of the biggest pop-rock/romantic bands in Brazil, "Roupa Nova". Its name is called "Videogame", I recommend listening to it, it's very good.
When the welsh news reporter said "And there's GOOD news tonight", I laughed rolling on the floor. WALES!
A little explanation about Globo's intros which is still useful today: Jornal Hoje (Today News) is the main afternoon bulletin, airing at around 1.30pm, Jornal Nacional is the flagship news bulletin, airing at 8.30pm, and Jornal da Globo (Globo's News) is the late news bulletin, airing at any time between 12am and 1am. That structure hasn't been dramatically changed since the early 1980s
28:30 *_It seems that 🇴🇲 Oman has always been a very PROGRESSIVE ISLAM country_*
20:23 I love this intro.
Me too. Now All Dzienniks was deleted in UA-cam. It's bad
Your collections are so informative and amazing, I love it.
Great job gathering all the material ❤
22:42 :Imagine in Swisterland Winter and see this Man saying the news
Wonderful collection of videos.

Ah, I see the Filipinos have discovered memes that in developed countries are stale for several months, haven't you?
@@schokokaina yes lol
@@dawidtan8 You aren't even trying to hide your autistic antics...
@@schokokaina lmao
That "Coffeemansky Televizija" montage is clever
I really like it that you decided to use Dnevnik for the intro
We need more compilations like this
Damn, why is the Oman news intro music so lit
Guatelmala is like a bad acid trip, though the country was badnews back then.
7:35: I knew the name Andrés Pastrana would ring a bell. He would become President of Colombia in 1998.
And about Notiseis from Costa Rica: There was time after that when Canal Seis, the TV station that showed Notiseis, didn't even have a newscast anymore. That eventually changed when Noticias Repretel launched in I believe 1998 or 1999 as a competitor to Teletica Canal Siete's Telenoticias (which was the more popular newscast). Repretel is today's parent company of Canal Seis.
25:42 and 45:59 use two different sections of Nucleogenesis Pt1 by Vangelis (Albedo 0.39)
I really like how the text in the thumbnail is inspired by Serbian news intro
20:46 Portugal!! Don't remember the intros, I was a 5 year old kid, but I sure do remember her!
Latvian TV Panorāma is airing from 1958 till this day and not 4 years in the 80s!
It's just the time the intro was used
I really like the jingles of Dziennik Telewizyjny
22:43 why Switzerland news report without clothes?
It was a parody sketch
6:33 One correction: TV Anhanguera is not a own station, it's an Globo affiliate. Therefore, there is no reason for the intro of Jornal Anhanguera to be there. It would be better to put the one on RJTV, which is the almost equivalent of this local newscast, but produced by Globo itself in Rio de Janeiro.
it is interesting i think
Leningrad TV was really earrape.
Girls: He didn't cry at the Titanic
Do men have feelings
Boys: romanian TV intro
Loved the oman news jingle ❤ (and the women didn't wear veils). Also the Czech one was really neat!
35:42 This video is from a collection of works by a CG production company. The clock at the beginning is a different program and the music is not from NEWSCORP. (Coined from the words “news” and “scope.”)
The original theme music was based on JNN converted to Morse code.

36:39 Ahh Berita RTM....
good old time
22:42
Wtf with the reporter.
French actor Daniel Prevost.
The German intros sounded like intros to old 50s variety shows.
Also, the music for the intro from Concepcion, Chile was used for KHOU (channel 11 in Houston) in the late 70s.
Correction: Fuji TV in 1985 was based in Shinjuku and not in Minato. The move to Odaiba in Minato only happened in 1997.
At least the Japanese news intros weren't as oppressive as the ones from the Warsaw Pact countries. 😅
An impressive selection, I was very interested to see!
Maybe you can find news intros from Belarus, including the Belarusian SSR?
Sadly, there is no intros from that period, only some fragments. But thank you for your words! 💚
Didn't expect those two hosts in Saudi TV news😅
I like the deeply unsettling instrumental during the danish intro
20:46 in these days.. Cr7 was born
The 🐐
Serbia news program intro be like: tudut tudut tudut tudut tut tut, tudut tudut tudut tudut tut tut
in Mexico there were IMEVISION and televisa newscasts, these were from IMEVISION in 1985: from early, day by day, first edition and he who does not fall slips, seven days,
Mexican Newscasts from IMEVISION in 1985: desde temprano, DIA A DIA, primera edición, el que no cae resbala y siete días
IMEVISION was the predecesor of TV Azteca, right? And if memory serves, 24 Horas with Jacobo Zabludovsky was more like a news magazine similar to what I know from Germany as both Tagesthemen (ARD) and Heute Journal (ZDF), it wasn't a news cast in the traditional sense.
9:09 🇨🇱
In Africa intros were more modern that in Poland? We were really „sto lat za Murzynami”.
opposite lol
Sudan szczególnie bez kitu
Well the news from Geneva was a bit of a surprise!!
Nevermind, that looked classy!
Philippines (ABS-CBN, GMA) left the group
Good job very 80this
What's that one news station where the people turn into different things during transitions
I think CBC is also broadcast their English service from Toronto?
An awful lot of these sync up well with some sweet vaporwave tunes.
1980 VTV news look like startup theme of almost regional channel
17:11 is from 1984-1986.
33:42 This paragraph is not AHTV news, but CCTV news on the hour

*vibin when Scottish TV💃💃💃*
The BBC really did stand head and shoulders over the rest of the world in terms of presentation at this point. Their national packages would not have looked out of place well into the '90s.
22:44 where is the dudes shirt?!?!
And intros from Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Ecuador?
RTP January1985 Telejornal goes hard
29:20 This is from Pakistan Study more geography
I'm not one to agree with the Middle East, but Oman is a banger!!!!
For a Middle Eastern country, Oman is quite prosperous and has a surprisingly good human rights record (starting in 1970 anyway after Qaboos bin Said became Sultan)
Doubly impressive since like Saudi Arabia, it's a flat out absolute monarchy.
45:28 He reminded me of that 1990's Turkmenistan news anchor. 😆😆
sadly philippines was not there we have no news obbs 😢😢during 1985
at least only obb from during 1985 in the Philippines is rpn newswatch
ua-cam.com/video/ShHYubRoM5A/v-deo.html this intro was used in 1985 as well
No Philippines in the list. The news programs were News-Watch (RPN), News at Seven (GMA), News @ 6 (IBC), Newscenter 4 (MBS, today PTV) and City 2 Balita (City 2). ABS-CBN wasn't returned to the airwaves in 1986.
41:56 goedenavond? wasn’t that Dutch?
22:42 Nachrichten Oben Ohne😂
Yes... Why shirtless on Swiss news?
TSR Telejournal, why the news anchor shirtless?
Don't really know, I got interested too
It's a parody of how the news looked. But the intro is legit
22:42 wut
32:16 When Afghanistan was a civilized state. 😢
When Albania get color tv?
37:43
6:46 I hate 1985, but this intro means that i'm argentinian
why do you hate 1985?
it's looks lile to the series 80s everything the generique jajajajaj
As albanian, our news intro was classic garbage because of a paranoid leader
47:36 Yes. That small is look like south Korea.
you forgot Bulgaria
36:40 That news intro (Berita RTM) was used until 1985
There was no RSSR, there was RSFSR - Russian Soviet Federative Soviet Republic
It is the most basic intro in the world and the music seems to be music from java games xd
21:03
ua-cam.com/video/j9pWrqFL-Oo/v-deo.html 19:40
and I think RTP had another intro but I cannot find the exact dates
otherwise great compilation
indeed, rtp telediario had another intro during 1985
41:18 is the best intro i've ever seen

Where's 🇮🇳?
Wait why was the anchor in the Swiss TV - French speaking bare chested XD ?
It was the parody of how news looked
@@cfsk-tv It's French actor Daniel Prévost

BBC Six O'Clock News... Still the best, 38 years on.

18:00 Apparently the Hungarians erased Florida from existence. Maybe they were onto something.
Have seen that communist/socialist television mantain an 40s 50s, 60s style on image or music... remembering better times maybe?... too odd and old... besides 22:44 the naked anchor!?!?! WTF!!?!?!?!?!
Télé Zaïre goes so hard
