No one: USSR Gerorgian news haunting your nightmares:
Yugoslavia Serbia dots is by far the best. Poland's is good too.
Still used, but in a modernized version. Also, Hungary's Híradó intro 1986-1988 was really great as well, one of the best in my opinion. Clearly a huge step up from the one featured in this video, witch was as bad as Romanias.
My favorite was USSR Estonia Tallinn because the jingle sounds like a thing that I put in my S2E4 about in 1973 on 5:32
Where is Czechoslovakian, this is my favorite
Serbia then Luxembourg then Portugal them france
THX :D
Finnish and Georgian were unexpectedly creepy, I believe I'd shit my pants if i were to suddenly see them broadcast on TV
finnish is bland yeah but not creepy, just some beeps and a normal news logo
Norway was a bit Creepy i think
Finnish looks like a friendly alien podcast and Georgian like neutral-to-hostile alien podcast
Grece☠💀
Yes@@LankyMarko
The Georgian intro looks like TV news from an alien civilization. Interesting.
I think it's because of the poor transmission they had.
This era had great intros. the early electronic sounds make it sound dystopian but cool. and you still got a lot of traditional effects and music mixed in.
@@rtcp2020 These news intros don't seem to reflect that at all, my friend.
Thx for the nightmares Georgia💀💀💀💀💀💀
The 70s were wonderful for funky analogue id scenes.
Albania have the same intro for 32 years imagine that
Superb! Really enjoyed this. Music and titles all very much in line with the prevailing fashions/trends of the time.
A much appreciated compilation (the crayons of Ljubjana win my vote for originality!)
🇨🇾🇧🇬🇨🇿🇦🇲🇫🇮 top 5 Best intros
great compilation!
the Georgian one is the creepiest 😨
it was for me when I first saw it but not anymore
@@AtanasijTopevski And here's a fun trivia which makes this intro of Moambe even weirder - Georgia is one of the last Soviet republics (and the last within the European Broadcasting Area) to have a native color broadcast service which happened in 1984 (by then most of Europe and other Soviet republics were already broadcasting in color). Occasional color broadcasts were comming mainly from Moscow (and only for special events such as Victory Day and October Revolution Day celebrations, as well as maybe the Moscow Olympics) since the mid-70's.
Moambe Is DA Creepy Thing News
5:44 here it is.
How about TV-Avisen major to minor chord switch? That was creepy as heck.
Romania's Telejurnal also has a coloured version with the music of the organ a little more low pitched.
Nice job with the Polish opening🙂 There is nothing more than this short part of original opening of Dziennik Telewizyjny from the part of timeline that begun on October 10th 1976 and lasted in 1980, probably April 30th, and full opening for the main news service (Wieczór z Dziennikiem) from that time, so it's clear that you had to recreate the full opening by using those two, and you did it very well👍😃
The following opening was the one with "jumping" dt and I'm sure it came out during 1980. For next two years (till 1982) Telewizja Polska had that one opening for all of their news services called Dziennik Telewizyjny🙂
That Dziennik TP intro is perfectly accurate for first half of 1980, Wieczór z Dziennikiem was reformed into Dziennik (and shortened from 1 hour to 40 minutes) in December 1979 and in the end of July 1980 there was already new DT logo in the old studio.
Intro of 1980 19.30 Aktuelle Kamera looked other way than shown in this video. View to studio behind the cameras and digital clock with well known "AK" tune.
@@dawnotemuwtv3550 AK tune?
@@Aaa-ws5ux AK- Aktuelle Kamera
If I had enough skills to design an intro let alone edit an entire video, I would make this one look like total worthlessness though.
1:40 looks gorgeous😍😍😍 especially for 1977
nato simp

@@InternationalEASAlarmsMapping How is just liking a news intro making someone a "nato simp"? Grow up dude

Damn, some of those logo designs are just amazing
5:46 : #creepy
Not sure what you call this aesthetic but I totally dig it.
EDIT: Except Georgia. That looks like it was edited by David Lynch himself.
5:20 the best Armenian station ever heard.
- დიდი ხანია რაც ეს ყველაფერი
The best was Austrian one and the worst was Georgian one (seriously it's worse, than some of the intros from WWII era, it is so bad it's creepy)
Georgian one came straight out of FNAF.
That makes the Georgian one great. i also love the Finnish one that one looks like it was made on a computer from the time.
9:27 the year of start and end is 1979-1981
Serbia's one is my favourite, absolute banger
0:40
French "Actualités" into was trippy, colourful and charmy as fuck
edit: I repeated trippy lol. Also that intro is so original
for me it kinda looks like nsfw
The coolest thing is that it was sampled in a Mr. Oizo song
Everyone talking about Georgian being scary, but Belgian one is eerie as fuck for some reason
Belgians are always doomers despite being well off

5:44 Georgia really made me piss my pants 💀
Godamn, the Georgian intro is terrifying. If I was a kid there I would shit myself
Ikr
they were hard people .
France's intro is used *until* 1976
the audio is the SAME, however, the intro is used from 1976-1981.
Yes, before is it1 (6-1-1975 / ??-06-1976)
For me the best is france, norway, portugal and greece 😊 the worst is cyprus 🤮
The same intro as Serbia used was at that time used in New Zealand TV...so now the question which one is original😂
I’m going to guess Serbia as they’ve missed New Zealand off the map. Poor Kiwis

No it's zeven
RTL, c'est vous
There's 2 mistakes:
Frankfurt am Main not Hamburg (ARD Tagesschau, 1978-1984)
Zurich not Geneva (SF DRS Tagesschau - TSR Téléjournal - RTSI Telegiornale, 1973-1980)
Tagesschau was (and still is) produced in Hamburg.
Love how Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine are just missing from the thumbnail.
Not found.
moldova too
There are no footages for them especially during the year 1980
Maybe they use the same intro as Russia

For me all are scary ngl. I'm always scared of news intros idk. What was the music used in Yugoslavian intros?
The Georgian one is the scariest and the weirdest shit for me! 😂
@@janreyabuan Yeah, one georgian guy said: this is not scary trust me.

Why do I feel like the original Doctor Who got their sound effects from Finland?
Serbia, Yugoslavia intro was the best. Georgian intro was the worst!
Its execution is pretty clumsy but I like the idea behind the georgian intro. I love athmospheric stuff
Hungary intro best 10/10
Jackalman in TV!!!! In Europe awesome
This is futile in itself, but could anyone give me the name of the song used by the Czechoslovaks? It sounds so peaceful.
Song was writtendirectly for news.
@@gagoftak I was asking for the whole version, if it is actually longer than approx. 10 secs., and if it does exist somewhere on the Internet. There are examples of that around.
Why not hei elei kuck elei?
Lincoln Loud is leaving Lincoln Loud Arctic in Iceland
Polish intro since spring/summer of 1980 wasn't this one you see here any more. During 1980 this one came out:

Ok someone explain to me how East Germany got the best jazz composer of all time for theirs
Best : Zeit im Bild Worst : Moambe
Para los que decían que solo la URSS y los estados satélites usaban los relojes xd
Serbia still uses the same news inteo, except a bit bwtter animation
The czech one is the best by far
9:21 Far far ago, in a Yugoslav autonomous republic far far away...
jugoslavija on top as always zivela juga
The UK had more than just the one channel at the time. Unfortunately the BBC News logo was pretty rubbish at that time and I'm sure ITN's were equally dire.
I want to go to Yugoslavia, especially Novi Is sad
“Nieuws”💀
the romanian one is scary and cool at the same time
same with georgia, albania and finland

The soviet intro's seem hypnotic, no doubt to make viewers believe the propaganda they were about to watch.
His name is also a mouthpiece for communism, the audience must believe it
All american news intros also need to be hypnotic in that case because all they say is complete bullshit.
