Thank you for pointing out to wash the lid. So many people forget that there's germs on the top of the can. I always wipe the inside of the can to remove any metal shavings from opening.

Nah, I’m from Belize city, 77 years old, fresh grated coconut milk, NO OKRA, Matilda foot, ( grated plantain ) green or turn, thyme and scotch bonnet pepper! Learn from my mother and grandmother... That’s why when I make trips, I don’t eat out, we don’t have authentic Belize food anymore, got to catch the old people! 💕🙏🏽

When the coconut milk first starts to boil you have to constantly stir it so it doesn't curdle. My grandmother taught me how to make sere❤

It's not authentic Belizean Sereh without Okra and real grated Coconut milk.... It doesn't taste the same. Damn, I am missing my Grandmother Sereh.
