I don't usually comment on Homeworthy, but this house is so unusual and unbelievably stunning. Very adult and sophisticated. Wow.
Maggie is a doll… ❤ One of the best home tours I have ever seen. It was so inspiring. I love so many of her ideas. Especially with how she incorporated so many family heirlooms. Little touches here and there of her boys art as well. Just so sweet ❤
Love the tip for mounting and framing heirloom brooches that aren't really wearable today, instead of keeping them in drawers that rarely see the light of day. Idea officially nicked!

I couldn't choose a favorite room in this house. The dining room wall mural is beyond beautiful. I am sure there are minimalist fans clutching their pearls but for me the definition of a home is one filled with beautiful objects and collections.
Traditional southern homes are my go to for inspiration.

Surprised to see the negative comments. This is a superbly cohesive home. I enjoyed hearing the backstory and why they choose what they did - that’s how we can learn the thought process of a professional. There was obviously a very high budget here but money doesn’t always equal style. In this case it definitely does. Gorgeous home. I’d live there in a heartbeat!
I am not surprised to be honest , I was watching it on my tv and I thought I hope I am not only one who doesn’t like this style at all . Which is strange regardless of my personal taste , I usually will like and say it’s not me but it’s beautiful . This one though , I really can’t see coziness or any appeal , too dark , doesn’t match really , let’s say if I was looking for decorator and I saw that , I would definitely pass . Each to their own .
And I am not hater or anything . I love decorating and setting up homes , but this is very hard no .
Maggie has really sweet personality and everything in her home is stunning. I love her sweet spirit and how she talks about her boys!!

Beautiful house. I love that she has gorgeous antiques but a hint of modern to keep things fresh and not stuffy. The colors and wallpapers are gorgeous. Very well designed. I would like a smaller version of this home.

Absolutely LOVE Maggie’s style, I think for me it’s the personal touch of things that have meaning to her and her husband, nothing pretentious or over the top, a really well thought out home and how the spaces will function. Her color palette is so beautiful and comfortable, if I ever get the chance, I would love to have a library that’s cozy like hers is. And I also like that awesome skirt she’s wearing, I was hoping she would share where she got it from!

This women embodies everything I love about home design and decor…. Understated elegance, history, warmth, and function. You can tell that she is gonna be one of the best boy moms in the world. I can already feel like she will have the best tailgates! She is so southern and so elegant, with a home that's a tour-de-force in blending masculine and feminine energy. Her home literally feels like a sweet, feminine belle surrounded by a bunch of manly and southern, quality gentlemen; this home feels like bourbon in a wine glass. 10/10!

This was one of the most enjoyable house tours you’ve featured here and one of the best hostesses! I loved how Maggie explained so much about her home as in colors, room layouts, decorations, etc., etc. I love to see someone so appreciative of heirlooms in an age of minimalism, contemporary, disposable and often poor quality furnishings. You really don’t have to have wealth to have a beautiful, layered home.

She gave me sooo many ideas for storage. Being able to keep things on hand, close by, without clutter.
Lovely home and the homeowner has added some much warmth by adding things from her grandparents and her husband’s.
I'm a big fan of dark brown and its many variations. As for the home and Maggie, well, just perfection. She knows what everything is and where it came from and its significance to her family. That each person has their own locker is genius. Those boys aren't going to pick up their things, so throw it into each one's closet and close the beautiful brown door. Bravo Maggie!
I believe this is the most beautiful home I have viewed. It holds a generational history of a family that has clearly been blessed with life and love. I pray that you will continue to hold tight to those traditions that have formed the bonds you carry thru and pass on. Family is so very important. Creating is a part of our DNA. I am from Spain so I know nothing about Georgia girls, this lady is lovely, not pretentious at all and I love that she allows her children to decorate the house with their legos even when Homeworthy is shooting. I am sure you are also a good example of a girl from Georgia.

Beautiful, curated, unique design. The other thing I love about this home are the proportions; for a new-build, it’s refreshing to see rooms with proper proportions and scale, as opposed to one giant open plan floor.
I love that her home has details that make it look like it's been there for many decades. You'd never know it was a new build. That's the way to do a new construction! I love the Tudor style on the outside & the warm wood & deep gorgeous colors inside. So many designers do all white everything & while it looks new, to me it lacks soul. A house should express who you are in your heart & her home obviously does that. I love how each room has layers to it & has so many pieces collected over time, that's how it should be. I wouldn't want quite as much stuff, but that's just me, personally. When I join my dear grandmother in Heaven, I don't want my child to have to go through so much stuff, but in this lady's case, it'll probably be passed down to all of her daughters-in-law to put in their homes. I absolutely love her home, it's the perfect example of cozy. The bedroom is definitely like a retreat or hideaway. And I love that she throws in animal prints to keep it from being too stuffy & traditional & although the modern art isn't my taste, it also works in the same way as the animal prints. Was anybody thinking southern belle while watching her? Ahh..the dress collection. 🙂 But she's a very sweet southern belle & excellent at what she does.
I loved this tour! Maggie was great at explaining various design and color choices made throughout the home. I love her style...traditional yet modern touches. I also like her art choices and how she used pride of placement - I'm going to consider how to incorporate some of her ideas with some of my special items.
I have really enjoyed this house tour and will most definitely be watching it a couple more times, Maggie is a natural in her elements; we have recently moved from New York to Georgia, not far from Gainesville, love everything about this home, great vibes. I want to be like her when I grow up. 😁

It’s a very contemporary with a traditional edge. But also it gives dark academia in some rooms. But then the prints give a boho articulation. It’s well done.
Maggie proves you can decorate with framed photos. So many online UA-cam inferior decorators claim you can not use framed photos and instead must have a gallery wall. Framed photos are wonderful. Her inherited vintage Buckler frame collection is very sweet and that Hudson River School painting was killer in her dining room. The Bunny Williams bed is also just dreamy. I love it. It is funny she must be a close neighbor to me as I too live in the North Ga mountains. I would love to hire her to help me with my house especially my basement which is my next big project. She is obviously very talented and has really put her heart into her house.
Your home is a dream! I love all the details you created, the comfortable cozy vibe, everything has a purpose and not ostentatious or pretentious. Wow. Great house with wonderful livable touches. Incorporating the old with the new brings that family and friend history together. Not everyone can do that successfully. Nothing wrong with World Market furniture if it is well made and has good bones. Those velvet chairs say "High End." Maggie is very articulate and explains her design choices well.
I'm a furniture guy. So when she said that she really loved the Bunny Williams bamboo bed, I went to the website. On that side under the heading of essentials I also saw a "Southern Belle" sofa. I think that fairly describes this whole episode.

Beautiful house but did anyone else squirm a bit when she said ‘the cotton fields that surround my grandmother’s house … our family farm is such a special place for us’ 😮

A lot of poor white people picked cotton by hand as well and harvesting cotton is done with machines now (and for the past few decades). My grandparents were born 1915 or later and she's younger than me so it's not necessarily a former slave plantation.

I think i haven’t seen on internet a house that has been built and decorated thinking about all the details from the outdoors to the indoors, the family likes and each of the members life style. Plus the guests and neighborhood kids! The interior design is impeccably coordinated but doesn’t feel like a show house. There is beauty everywhere in this house full with memories and you don’t feel it crowded. Definitely, I think her being a psychologist, a third generation of mother’s dedicated to their family and house, and her current ID career have made her a superb ID. Saving this video 🎉. Love so much about this! That bed! Swoon! I can't even afford the Williams Sonoma knockoff, but it sure is pretty! I also love how she described the personal significance of the things in her home. Sure, there are some pieces that are purely decorative, but many, if not most, have a story behind them. That's my favorite kind of decorating.

What? Everyone? Would be nice but not everyone is willing to do the work to have a home that looks like this. I also love how she incorporates family history in her decor. I think we should all do more of that. I got rid of things when my parents and grandparents died that I wish I had kept and made into wall art. I didn't think of it, and had never seen anything like this, so hopefully posts like this will help give people ideas for ways to preserve some of their family history.
