Thank you Blender for another great conference and for the opportunity to present! I was quite anxious, as I had never presented to such a large audience before and was prepping a lot. I finally relaxed after I finished, and then the conference was over 😂
Thank you for the great presentation! I wish all architectural firms convert to blender as an industry standard software. Blender really emphasizes the beauty of creation, especially architectural forms, I use it for everything related to architecture from conceptual modeling to detail design and 3d printing. Your videos on UA-cam helped me a lot actually so thank for making them!
The use of Blender to create real things is particularly enjoyable. Your speech is very inspiring. Congratulations and many thanks for sharing your experience. A blender architect specialized in auto-construction was present at the conference last year; I believe that sharing files and techniques could really inspire many people on small autonomous projects.
Nowadays, there are too many instances of exploiting the reputation of Blender to lure investments. I have experienced running such a company for 2 years, and I hope Blender will not be exploited for malicious purposes.
That's a reductionist approach ignoring the main idea of the presentation: iteration is very important, no matter the design project. The faster we are able to iterate, the quicker we get to the more "correct" design solution. Open Source is about sharing knowledge freely - I do quite a bit of that ;)
Ok @@UHStudio so Vitruvius had a reductionist approach when he wrote about the three attributes in architecture : firmitas, utilitas, and venustas ("strength", "utility", and "beauty"). Gratitude for the How but bored by the what.

Well done!!
Thank you so much 😘
I hope we one day will have more small details in these huge structures. I think the human brain need it.

Honestly, that architecture is more about "dubaian" commercial formalism far from Open Source mentality, but Blender can help anyway.
