Very nice Steve lovely video some good fish showing them selfs , And then bang one on the bank lovely fish quickly followed by another stunning fish beautiful conditioned fish thanks for sharing Steve brilliant mate .
I like your style of presentation Steve. Your appreciation of all the fish you catch despite the huge European fish you catch is something missing from a lot of people. All the best.
Hi Steve, just a big thanks for being such a massive inspiration and for in my humble opinion some of the greatest fishing content available. I have decided that I would just let you know that I think you are the most humble and genuine people in the specimen fishing world and I'm always amazed that you take the time too reply to so many people that comment on you videos. Thanks for being the greatest granddaddy to this great sport of ours. Big ups 💪 to You and Joan.
Really nice to you fishing back home, great blog great fish, looking forward to the European ones again but you have to do some more back here was great 👍 👌
Well done Steve, lovely video as usual and some fantastic fish, it also proves ground work pays off i.e. pre-visits to the lake and a little bit of baiting.
Love your videos Steve especially the music and production it always gets me excited mate for getting the rods in the water👊thanks for making my evening Steve I really do appreciate your videos👌cheers Danboy
Steve I thoroughly enjoyed your session on that lake, old stocky carp that had matured to wonderful inhabitants! well done and I look forward to your next travels.
Fantastic video. After watching it really helped me get some motivation to go out fishing after 2 weeks of blanking and managed to catch 23lber and a 12lber.
4 thumbs down? Surely that was all by accident. I can't imagine how anyone could be disappointed with this video seeing Sir Steve back to his roots doing what I now wish i had done during lockdown. Thanks for the great content Steve its always such a inspiration watching your videos.
Hi Ryan Thanks for that mate - thumbs down are just par for the course, there's always a few for what ever reason - same with everyone's vids but it doesn't mean anything as long as the overall feedback is positive. Thanks for watching and for the nice comments.
Lovely 👌🏻 back to the essence of British carping when a twenty pound old carp was a real achievement. It took me 10 years to get my first twenty back in the early nineties. Things have changed a lot indeed.
That was mega Briggsy. Some brilliant fish and a great video. Hope you dont mind me saying, but in my opinion you are 1 of the most underrated carp anglers on the scene and dont get the praise and recognition you deserve. Thanks again Steve
In the session you have hit yourself mate. Very good tents in a difficult place, with so many algae. Congratulations. I like that dark livery that those tents have, some have to be quite old. I hope you are well Couple.
Great Film Steve, Glad your both ok , Lovely looking old fish , would the original ones be the old Leney strain , they remind me of some old fish in a lake local to me very flat backs very dark very nice , Tight lines Andy
8 thumbs down there are some real numpties in this world, Steve it was great to see you back on the hunt and those fish are magic... well done can’t wait for the next vlog
Great stuff Steve, nice to see someone catching....for various reasons my syndi is playing hardball but watching that vid you have given me a little idea....cheers LOL
This covid19 stuff has been a bit of a nightmare mate hasn't it, it basically called time on this year's Pike season and delayed me going after some Tench. Beautiful looking carp on show I think that pond could benefit with 3 or 4 grass carp to keep the weed under control.
Hi steve glad to see you out n about again, question for you matey, what line you using in all that weed? Hopefully getting out myself soon now my club waters opened, Regards Leanne 🥰
Hi Steve. The crackling on the audio may be due to you having wifi active on your camera. The lake looks like a little piece of paradise mate. Great video.
Hi Don The camera is an eos 5Dk2 which doesn't have wifi but yes I noticed the crackling and couldn't get rid of it?! It's not happened before and I've the camera a long time now so I'm at a loss as to what it is? Appreciate your comment though - thanks.
Another no nonsense easy watch video Steve but get the guys in the edit suite to make sure they totally cut out your Shimano reels when they insert the shots of the reasonably priced gt’s it takes the shine off some top angling .Appreciate who you work for but don’t let marketing tarnish your credibility
Well for a start I edit all my own videos, there are no shimano reels in the video?! There are some old Avid ones but the video wasn't filmed over one trip it was filmed over several different one or two night trips. To begin with I didn't have the GT 6000's as Nash was closed during lockdown, when they reopened I ordered and received my new GT 6000's and used them which is why they appear later in the video. I hope this answers your 'queries'? at 28.40 you can clearly see my three rods with GT6000's attached...........
Thankyou for the reply, that explains you playing fish on a different manufacturers reel to the static shots of the Gt’s my bad on the shimano claim was going off the spools at 20:24 and 21:48 they were certainly nearer to Shimanos than gt’s
@@paulfletcher4709 yes everything was filmed by me of my tackle in the swims I was fishing. The static shot of the GT's was of my rods and reels while I was on the bank and not an inserted advertising shot.
Great Angling Steve,Stunning Fish And A Lovely Old Common.
