Having stairs is a huge improvement. I dont much care for decorative items but i had to chuckle at the Exercice bike, Engrish?! Thanks for putting this out, I'd never have known about these improvements otherwise.
Love these new decorations! I always felt the game could do with more options to personalise the base and voila! Maybe next we could get a grass wall? Wall lights? Posters? Alternative building materials like wood, marble (like in the portals)? Just chuckin stuff out there ...
I am very glad to see the internal staircase and the new beacon that allows you to turn them all off. These have been needed for along time. The rest of the stuff is pretty neat if you are into building good looking offices, functional living spaces etc. A well needed update.
I can hardly wait for them to be added to the game. It will allow me to want to go back into the game and add a lot more bases all around the planet to enjoy the views. Thanks for giving us a look at what is coming.
Looks good - I would have been more than happy with the internal stairs - that, for me, is huge. My next personal big want is the ability to build underground, like the ruins we explore.
Yeah that would be super cool. Maybe they could make where you can demolish walls and it shows the rocks and stuff. Personally I would love where you could make the roof not on the first floor (if there’s a habitat compartment on top)
@@surtrplays Maybe. I wasn't thinking Voxel based as in digging to the ground, but being able to point down with a hab structure to create the room downstairs (like you can do when you are inside and you build out from the side.). Obviously you can't have windows otherwise you see the "underside of the world".
I hope that we one day can paint the walls. The pirate ship on Humble proves that it is possible. Even if we get a limited amount of preset colors to chose from it would do a lot to allow us to customize our experience when replaying the game (and let's face it, many of us have played through the game multiple times by now. Pretty much every time a major update comes out.)
@@spencermangelson4414 The black and red ship up on top of the Ice Cave area is a pirate ship. It wasn't there from the start, but the first big update after Humble's release added it. There is a terminal on board it that says outright it's a pirate space ship. It got shot down by the autonomous robots.
Thanks again Surtr. Best update for me is the stairs, although I do like some of the new furniture too. Another good update from the devs. Wonder if we will get a toilet - remember seeing them in some of the larger wrecks. A shower cubicle too? Just a few more of the home comforts!
Thank you for this, Surtr. You can always be relied upon to give us the news fast. My first thought was, with all the walking and other work that we do on these planets, when would we get time for a gym? Also, with all the drinking and eating, why haven't we got those nice little toilet cubicles that the wrecks have? [If anyone's going for realism] Perhaps we are a very short-legged species that gets it 'beamed up by Scotty' or something. I do actually love these new additions and my comments are purely for comedic purposes. Again, thank you.
I really can't wait, I love these little titbits. It makes it more home-y. I wish we could build Ihklas base, like with higher ceilings (or removed floors between) and thoses stacked planttubes, but these things look awesome. The plants indoor, that planet! I want it now already!
I would like an option of 1 to 1 output / input for drones as an option. Maybe a : within a range \ distance setting as well. I think one of the best things they added is the rover.
INDOOR STAIRS THAT'S WAY MORE SPACIER THEN INDOOR LADDERS It felt so claustrofobic wityh onlt having the indoor ladders I really love it including all the extra's like hitbox fixes they were really annoying
However i still miss additional rounding like a 2x2 living compartment curve we have a single unit but i really like a bigger version of it also i would like balcony units too and small outdoor farming plots that you can place on a balcony or a foundation.
Stairs are a game changer for me. Rebuild time when those come out! Room dividers would be nice so you could make smaller areas in the 2x2 and 3x3 buildings.
Great additions, i will finally have something to fill my sprawling base. And the stairs, super cool. Minor issue thst they are 2 x 2, so more 1 x n towers. But im sure ill be able to live with that
I know a content creator who supplies high quality food and water bottles to display cases so he can eat and drink easily; I guess he'll want to switch over to the fridge instead, depending on how easy it is to unlock.
Having more stuff to build is great, it’s a shame the treadmill and bike doesn’t have an animation and we can’t play pool, it be nice if we could paint or change the colours of the walls of the base inside and outside too, but I’m really happy with the cosmetics added kinda wish there was even more choices
Can't wait. I had recently left planet Crafers, because I was getting bored with it and was having trouble with the automatic Crafers clogging up. This new patch will breathe new life into it. I'll be back to planet Crafters asap. 😊
Daaaang I am missing out on So much now that I am not on Windows anymore since they Screwed me over on the last win10 update and I now run Linux on my PC and lost everything.... Found a way I can get into my epic games account and play from there using HEROIC and my steam account but sometimes it glitches out so have not really played any type of my older PC games in nearly 2 months now. Anyways love all the new stuff and thanks for updating us.
@@surtrplays On steam its only games that allow steamdeck that I can play on Linux and I see sadly Planet Crafter is not on Steam deck, But i will find a way to get in again .
I would like atmosphere changes, or a way to recall rockets (satellites). I hate that in early game I placed a decent amount of rockets up for the bonus, but now I have a meteor shower once every 10 seconds that makes the game horrible to look at and shakes the screen for 2 straight minutes.
honestly the game is great... until you get going... then everything is laggy..... you have to turn down graphics.... destroy things to make the game move faster or smoother.... i have a 3090 and it still struggles with this game 2 hours in every time i have even tried just building a single stack of the highest tier unit with machine enhancers and it is still laggy af this patch was adding nothing but sims stuff
Sounds like you have memory problems, not the game. I have a 3070ti, on a 12900 i9. I play on full everything and it never lags even after 24 hours of continuous play. Your memory is getting full somehow, or something is pulling 100% of your CPU.
the laggy stuff is because of the version unity 5 which has a polygonlimit 256 for a certain range Drawdistances are choppy but will go smoother with unity 6 the unity 6 will have huge fixes for that and the graphics get also a big update (for now it will be for Prime only )

That is not right. Maybe report this on the game's Discord. Meteor showers from the rockets should only happen once per rocket.
If you balance the heat and pressure, these meteorshower should not appear so often!!
