- DIY in ground trampoline. Its not hard to do this if your back can hold up while digging the hole. Its been done for almost a year still holding up fine. There is no need to build a wall around it unless maybe you live in a sandy area i guess. (Trampoline is an Upper Bounce brand i cant say that i would recommend it just because it hardly bounces and sags a lot compared to one my sister bought for similar price a few months later.)
Wow people are negative as hell. Good work it looks nice!
Great idea!
I like your tutorial better than the others, this seems way less times consuming and in depth and seems to work...my question is what about if adults jump on it will they hit the ground underneath, maybe not the middle, but on the sides where the slope isnt as steep? thanks!
I did not on my setup but if you do just dig a bit deeper.
Thanks for the quick video. Did I miss the part where you discuss how to avoid rain water flooding your hole? I have to believe the water seeps through the trampoline fabric. Thanks!
As long as surrounding landscape is sloped away from it not flowing into it. Than it will only get the 1-3” of rain we get on average storms. And that doesn’t cause a problem soaks right in in a day or two.
can you use any trampoline? or does it have to be a specific "in-ground" trampoline? we want one with a net...
Keri Innis i just used what i had, a normal above ground trampoline that i removed the center leg sections of pipe so that the top trampoline frame part attached right to the bottom legs this saved me from having to dig a really deep hole. This also helped stop erosion that a bigger whole would have problems with. Hope that makes sense.
No you shouldnt make the legs any shorter it will hit the ground just dig the whole trampoline frame underground and if you have a net you have to bury the legs of it also underground
Watch a different video...
what happens when it rains?
+rory bellamy Never have any problems here in TN? Our clay drains nice here. Would help to add drainage pipes if you have flooding issues?
Bruh it rains
It rains
"Kids Paradise" AWESOME! :-)
how big is your trampoline? do you remember size?
oluchaklucha 17 foot.
Awesome video! I have a question: did you use screws to secure your trampoline or just set the bottom parts under the frame? We are doing the same in our backyard. Thanks!
This was six years ago i think it came with bolts and after removing the riser bars it still lined up for the frame to be bolted together like instructions said. Only thing i would change about this setup is venting it. Like maybe raising it a few inches above grass or removing the pads so it doesn’t create a suction. Just be careful kids can’t go underneath while jumping with it so low.
Cool
Que hermosos se ven brincando 😘
How big is this trampoline?
vickys welt I honestly cant remember i think it was 14-15 foot
Check out our diy buried trampoline video
+TheGardenShed ... would my child be able to bounce higher? or the fact that there is not much air will make this a problem? trying to copy from yours ..need advice. thanks
Without venting it or taking the pad off it will slow down the bounce. If you do vent it in some way it will jump the same as an above ground trampoline. I suggest leaving it about 4-6 inches higher than the ground level thats what i would do if i did it again than i could leave pad on. But it wouldnt look as clean. Hope that helps.
The frame will now rust being in contact with the dirt. Dig the whole bigger and don't cover the frame with dirt!
The mesh mat will fall apart before it rusts through. They are all basically disposable after 5+ years.
@@edensgardenshed9622 yeah so you throw on a new mat it isn't going to help the springs or frame from rusting out. Seems more dangerous.
the trampoline is great, except that i have 6 and 8 yr. old boys>>> need i say more ...
no your bumper stickers say enough
Omg
But if you have no dogs its pretty good
Rust haven. Like that's safer.
Baddddd trampoline
The pit will gather water when it rains, and mosquitoes will be produced
Depends on your soil type. Ours drains well we had no problems.
Your going to get mosquitoes no matter what.. maybe treat the ground with something every once and a while
Imagine if a fat guy went on it and broke a hole in it? The news would say: BREAKING NEWS, MAN DIES AFTER FALLING INTO PIT WHEN JUMPING ON IN GROUND TRAMPOLINE!
For me is dangerous. Small kids ok but for older like 7 and more is not safe...
Interesting logic
this is the dumbest thing I ever read
the squirrels.. rabbits.. they will poop on your trampoline!
Iyanah Martin haha. Chihuahuas.
this is how you get homeless people living in your backyard
What the. Very interesting comments under* this video. I’ve never seen so much criticism over something as simple as a new way of using a trampoline.
@@anotherunboxingchannelasmr7920 ugh, not another unboxing channel...
1 Ghost 2 Horses ugh you’re right. I wonder how many homeless people ended up living in his back yardp
1 Ghost 2 Horses not another 4:20am show
@@anotherunboxingchannelasmr7920 where's the other one?
BORING BUT HELPFUL
👎 so bad never shorten legs on trampoline worst advice ever
Ha it worked great. Dug out middle so height was the same just didn’t have to dig full height.
@@edensgardenshed9622 don't worry about these Douche nozzles.. they probably can't even take the trash out to the curb without complaining and I think it's a great idea but I live in Illinois so I'd probably have to make a drainage of sorts or just put a small pump at the bottom for when it rains.
@@edensgardenshed9622 and the pipes on these are galvanized so they aren't gonna rust any time soon cause they think putting it in the ground is somewhat different than setting it on the dirt.. like that makes a big difference.. this one probably shortened the legs but didn't dig the hole like a dingus
@@brad8179 you get it. People don’t think like they used to.
