two things - 1, i just did a wrist mobility routine before moving my apartment! 2, I dont know if you guys take requests, but I always love when you guys say "focus on the intention". I think this is a great mantra in general life as well - to focus on your intention! If you guys make shirts that say focus on the/your intention I will buy at least 2 for me and my sister! This was exactly what I’ve been looking for in a 15 min daily morning practice prior to my meditation. I feel that through your teachings I now know enough to experiment and make the practice my own. So I will be changing this around but this is the perfect baseline. Thank you Bre and Flow!

The seated straddled fold is the hardest for me for some reason. I can't even sit straight in that pose and even if I try I do not feel a stretch sensation anywhere. It's like I don't have the muscles to 'lean' forward. Any tips for that problem? I feel like not progressing with that pose even tho I am really trying :o
The same happens to me, I've got low back problems... I try keeping the feet flexed towards me, holding the spine long, and holding a little weight with my hands, arms extended forward... Then I feel some stretch behind my knees, and a little bit in my lower back.
Try elevating the hips a bit, sit on a folded towel or so. An alternative is standing straddle forward fold, in which you will likely fold forward. Keep up the practice! If this is something you want to work on specifically then stay in it 5-10 minutes, until we release more videos specifically about this to increase range of motion.
I'm in the same boat. Sitting on a block helps somewhat, but I think it must take a long time to progress cause advance yogi's always throw this in beginner classes forgetting it's crazy challening for most haha
You can do all of that without any partner. In fact you should be 100% content with just yourself. Only then will you find the right match. You have to prepare yourself for it first so that when you meed you can create something big together instead of fixing each other and relying on each other.
When he was moving from seated to cross legged and stretched his legs out for a second I tried to do that and fell down on my butt and he said "good work" i laughed out so hard
Hi! Love the videos. I notice on most of your short videos you say things like “it’s just a short one” etc which makes me feel like I’ve not really achieved anything. It would be great if you didn’t label them like this as I do the short ones when I am working nights and only have 2 hours between waking up and going back to work! Thanks :)

We don’t agree with the ashtanga philosophy of the practice of asana as well as the sequence of the series is very limiting and outdated, not honoring individuality, mechanics and differences of the body, and causes issues over time based on our experience. If it suits you at this moment of course go for it.
You mention that you have suffered from sciatica. Has the yoga cured you of this pain or do you still go through times of suffering from sciatica from time to time?

You answered that yourself already. If it is from sitting, how can you sit less and rotate between kneeling, sitting and standing? Go more on walks, practice more yoga with us and watch your posture when sitting. There are different ways to sit with a spine straight and not rounded.

And of course, breathe into it.
