For the longest time I thought the guitar on solsbury hill was all Fripp. According to RF he didn't even play on it. I thought at least the heavy guitar part at the end but no. It must all be Steve. Great song and one of my all-time favorites.
And Steve Hunter is genius-amazing player!
Brilliant interview, Terry 💖
Great Job - Great Song

Lookin' good there, T-Bone! xo C9
And that was the first episode, before I got lights!
I was really hoping to get some more specifics on his technique, because it sounds like he plucks the low B continuously, 8ths. And that’s just one of many questions I have about it.
This was a one hour & ten minute podcast. We must have covered 20 different subjects, so there wasn’t time to go into details like that. I’m a guitarist, so I’d love to know! Maybe a part two is warranted!
Are you the man in the rockoplast video of solsbury hill? Thanks
No...that was Sid McGuiness. This is the guy on the record.
This guy is part of a very famous team.. listen to the Sweet Jane off Rock & Roll Animal.etc
@@merseybeat1963 I was amazed that Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner were never in the studio at the same time when they did Train kept a Rollin for Aerosmith and producer Jack Douglas.
