1st team tournament of the season on Smith Mountain Lake (VA Elite 70 Team Series )

We fished our first VA Elite 70 team tournament of the year this past weekend ( March 23, 2024) . The bite was tough but my partner and I were able to grind out enough bites to earn a good check. We primarily caught them cranking rock transitions in small feeder creeks off the main. I tried to make the big swim bait bite work around the docks to no avail 😔

Had a kayak tournament the same day there. Wish the rain and clouds stuck around cause the bite was on until that sun came out... landed a 21.5" largemouth for big bass though😄 Pulled one out of your textbook and didn't rock the gopro lol. Keep up the good work dude!

It was a pair of St Patrick's day sunglasses my daughter had in the boat that somehow ended up in the net. She is not happy with Dad for losing them in the lake 😅
