This video has epic levels of Jeremy Clarkson with a hammer energy.
Haha 😂
Are 328i gearboxes meant to be a little jerky, or should be smooth? I find that comfort mode makes it more jerkier than eco pro. Sport and sport+ mode with gearshifter in sport makes gear change even worse
Quite smooth in my experience. I’d have it checked out if it’s feeling jerky
I would try reset adaptations if you’ve already changed the tranny fluid
The tranny fluid is changed yes, but not resetted.
Its not always jerky, once it gets warm, its better. But usually 1st to 2nd OR 2nd to 1st gear is what i can feel the most.
No metal scrap found in an old oil.
Hey AJ bro
I have a 2014 320i- n20, 83000 kms
When should i change the timing chain??!
. I couldnt differentiate the chain noise when i saw the videos i was confused. Can you please make a suggestion. My car is running good and oil change was good around 6k-7k kms everytime and sometimes be less than that.
I think you shouldn't wait until it hits 100,000km so if you have the money do it now or save money and do it before it hits 100
Hi bro, Maybe have an expert checkout your tensioners and see if the timing chain is still in good condition. I had it checked at Z Auto & he told me mine is still good to go.
i had a question. I recently just bought a 2006 bmw 325i for 1800$. i fixed it up did all the matince on it but it has almost 200k miles on it. Is it worth keeping and making it look nicer or should i sell it?
I mean, what are you thinking about buying if you sell this?
Well this is my first car and I don’t even have my license yet, so I was just going to use the money to buy a better bmw. The reason I wanna sell it is because I worried about the car being at 200k miles, idk if it’s worth investing into if it’s engine is jus gonna break down on me
I'd drive it for a few months and see if I like the car, how's the reliability and overall condition and everything, and then decide whether I want to spend more money on it.
If I do sell it, is there something you would recommend. Right now I’m willing to spend 5-7 thousand on a car
Where do you stay? I'm not sure about the prices over there. But over here in Malaysia, I don't know anything you could get that'd be as fun as what you're currently driving at that price range 😅
No BMW Warranty go ahead change gearbox n axle fluid. don't blame bmw service people.
BMW warranty is for 5 years. Unless they don't give a s**t about their customers after 5 years, they should still offer gearbox oil replacement as an option. After all, ZF itself recommends it and they made the gearbox.
