I bought some Elwood in the past and whileI love the colors they choose (it's like the perfect black/brown/blue of the options I've seen available on blanks) and they fraying is cool, the quality feels like a walmart tee. After a few washes, it was a completely different shirt.

While we're talking about basics, before buying these Elwood shirts (I ordered them a couple days ago for the first time) I bought some from Buck Mason, Heavyweight Tee's ($50), and they were sort of a disappointment. They shrank quite a bit, but the neck got looser. So if you ever come across them I'd skip them.

I'm back to say- I do not like the Elwood tee. After a couple washes it looks thin, cheap, the neck's too wide, it wrinkles easily. But i also bought an Abercrombie thick oversized t, and i'm here to say it's the winner.

Elwood does a good job of making the clothes look good in photos but I ordered a zip up from them and the quality definitely feels cheap

Elwood is not made in USA, it is Made in China. The tag on the inside reflects that. Also, Elwood states that it is 200gsm (6oz) fabric. I have measured this and confirmed it to be true. Can you explain why you mentioned that it was not 200 - 220 gsm in the video? A lot of times people associate thickness with weight and I wonder if that's what happend here.

Are there any brands similar to what Elwood is "going far" that are slightly more fitted with raw neck options?

Honestly we haven't found any other good options that are in a great price range. If you wanted too, you could DIY a raw reck ad just buy your fav tee.
