Just so you know Dorcas, foreign students have been studying here since the late 60's. FIRSLY because the first Flying or Aeronatics school in Asia was establised here just as we had the first airline too. TRIVIA: UST or University of Sto Tomas in MANILA is older than Harvard University of the US.
Wow! That’s good to know😊
And University of San Carlos is older than UST.😌
Nice viewing your you tube madam !Mabuhaykayo !
@@rhoguillema7440 first time I've heard about this 😯
@@veryynicee 😅😅🤣🤭
That guy at 7:57 had very insightful and observant answers. I didn't realize the the Philippines has kept and valued so much of their own traditions despite being so Westernized, to the point where almost everyone speaks English.
Yes we value our culture and traditions so much that's why we have a lot of festivals most esp we are very respectful to elders but we are also combination of westernized and easternized. Just like we are familiar with different culture around the world thats why we easily get alo ng with other races in the world
Oh, booh... why you came to Phils?
why you nevr study in your country Nigeria?
Your country also mch more people bfore are shorts?
basicly .... mostly darker people also the used to comments bad against phils.
I like the first guy, he didn't sugarcoat what he said and very straightforward guy, i like that...
❤❤
I agree and appreciate his honesty.
my question is: why is he staying here if education is the same in his country?
he's funny he thought employees in the airport are children because of the heights hahaha
yea
He looks cute too !!
that one man who knew Ph by watching Mara Clara 👏❤️❤️❤️
❤❤❤
The Indian girl and her obsession with the labs was funny. XD She seems very sweet and driven with her career goals.
Yes hahaha
A lot of Indians here in Ilocos Sur Studying Medicine…one of their graduates from India when she took the Indian Medicine board she is top 1 in their place….
Thank you❤❤
University of Northern Philippines
Yes well said 🙏Philippines education is the best 👌👏
I am a Filipino but i grew up in a foreign country... when i went to the Philippines to study college, i was also shocked in many ways. So many things that i needed to learn and adjust myself into. It took me like a year or so just to adjust and to learn things, there were times i cried and wanted to go back home. But eventually i got used to it. Philippines is a beautiful country with heart-warming people. Would love to go back and visit it one day.
Really??? Covid protocols here sucks
I like Manny from Nigeria. If all the people in the world just like him . Our world will better a place to live.
Thank you❤❤
The mara clara guy was so observant ❤️
He is smart too.
Thank you❤
The third person who was interviewed was very fair and his insight about the Philippines was very positive. He is a very well rounded, dignified gentleman. Thank you very much.
Anyhow, they were actually very open in answering questions.
Much love to our Nigerian, Korean and Indian brothers and sisters...
We Filipinos and the Philippines 🇵🇭 loves you... ❤️❤️❤️
They are also in Davao City studying medicine
❤❤
Your 3rd interviewee taking Dentistry, is the smartest and made the most sense.
Thanks for watching❤❤
He is really smart and by the way he talk a lot of sense.
The Philippine Travel Bureau should hire you as one of their spokesperson for foreign students. Btw: Davao City has a lot of Medical, Nursing & Dentistry Indian Students.
Thank you so much❤
Yeah i saw them everyday commuting
In terms of school of nursing iloilo city is the best the #1. While in medicine its one of the best school of medicine. And also medical technology and pharmacy.
I'm Filipino American and studied in the Philippines. Even I had culture shocks when I was there but it was fun 🤣
I love Manny comment he's very observant thrue things around the community and life being in the philippines.hope he well achieve he's dream.god bless to him
Dorcas my only favorite nigerian vblogger bec she is lively, open minded and her adaptability and flexibility is good. She is also God fearing.
Thank you so much❤️🙏
Yes right! She is a very nice vlogger. 🤩
I worked in Qatar and some parts of the Middle east specifically in Food industries.I worked with a lot of Nigerians & Sudanis. I am fully aware that Africans are judge mentals at first and I was cultured shock as well how Africans portray their routines & personality. But eventually we became great friends after exchanging each others mistakes and flaws African people are really well spoken in terms of their feelings they are quickly to judge other people but also they are very friendly. Same with Filipinos the only difference is we are too sensitive to hear crticisms we usually don't get it unless they explain it really well. Just like the other African student said that our food is too sweet and full of sugar which is not true. We put sugar for most dishes but it is not over powering it is a main ingredients to the local food but it should be balanced unlike tasteless food without spices is not good. I tried African food as well and I can tell Spices is not well corporated they prefer the taste of the the main product to be above the rest and it is over powering all the spices and too salty as well. However that is the beauty of cultural differences. Not all people is raised the same way.
❤❤
I'm a Filipino who lived grew up in Qatar my whole life 25+ years and I'll have to disagree on your statement about food being too sweet I agree with the Nigerian everything here in Philippines is sweet, I find the mayonnaise is sweet, the local Eden cheese and the margarine is sweet, most food items has no business being sweet are sweet. I had similar culture shock with the Nigerian, it takes a while for me to adjust, but there are few things I do admire and appreciate about PH which is the greenery, nature and fresh local vegetables.
I did not know that Nigeria have cold weather ,all i thought its hottervthan Phil.
@@gregoriagenerosa7681 if they have cold weather, why are they black? Nigerians are liars.
@@sarahkybanez800 everything in Philippines is sweet? All food is sweet? I beg to disagree. We don't put sugar in kinilaw(civiche), tinola, otan bisaya (vegetable soup), pinakbet, sinugba and a lot of things... Maybe some of the foods including dessert of course are sweet but not all otherwise we all have diabetes now.
the 3rd guy dentistry student has a good insight and fair say. I am a Filipino and aware od the educational capacity of our schools especially in medical/dental labs. I wish with all this i flux of students, schools will take it to themselves to modernize th3 labs, and also to support their instructors in upgrades. I see Phils becoming an affordable " educational destination" in Asia, I hope CHED sees that too and strive to increase the Quality and NOT the quantity of students grads.
Dentistry is also a good course ...
I have a Chinese friend took up Dentistry in the Philippines...she is now a Dentist in Hongkong...
As a Filipino introvert, living in Philippines is really difficult. 🤣
Hahaha
Introvert here. Japan is an introvert nation so I would love to live in there.
@@user-zc2vn7wr9s I’m planning to work and move there haha
Introvert here...ang tingin sakin ng iba pra daw may something sa utak..😒
Jesus Christ on point
I love the positivity and professionalism of the guy with a blue backpack.
I admire the second Nigerian that you interviewed. He is outstandingly smart! 💞💞💞
No doubt
they all seemed so humble adjusting and learning about the culture and listening to what they had to say made me smile (also i find it funny how the thumbnail are koreans who had barely anything to say about PH unlike the others you interviewed 💀)
Love Nigerians and Indians
❤❤
Koreans are not so fluent in english like nigerians that is why koreans took a while to respond. Nigerians are fluent in english as well as filipinos because of their colonizers.
The filipinos are friendly humble loving caring and family oriented you just need to know them better and give them time and you will see.
not all
@@olandsayson5587 It is still the filipino culture to be so and to do so. So maybe, not all as there are always bad apples in the bunch. But very much more so then most western cultures or other countries for that matter. And by how much? A very large percentage, mind you!
❤❤
Thanks Dorcas for interviewing foreigners and getting their impressions about the country..
Thank you❤
You are doing good interviews among foreign students here in the Philippines 💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you❤
I like this interview..The foreigners are answering the truth and on point.thank you durcas 🤗💛

Indians have been studying medicine here in the philippines for so long already. I remember when i was in elementary, indians were dominant among foreign students in one of the colleges in our province. That was early 90s..
I was been studying in SWU for 1 year . Glad you have interviewed other foreign students on how and what we are as Cebuanos
Thank you so much❤
Thank you dorcas for sharing this to the world we filipinos love you

i am surprised to know many nigerians and indians are coming to study in southwestern university in Cebu City. Thank you very much Dorcas for this video. it is fun and informative at the same time.
It's my pleasure
Back in 2005 or 2006 I also met Persians and the reason why they study here in pH is good educational system. Maybe they also consider the cost as well. It's a great bang for the buck I think
❤️ thanks for this.... I love how you interact to all of them...
I wish and pray for them to be successful and safe while still here in the Philippines
Thank you so much❤
The Nigerian guy @7:54 is very smart. You can talk to him 24 hours without getting bored.

Manny was the best you've interviewed!
Thank you❤
I like all their answers esp. the third guy... his knowledgeable and he do speak w/ wisdom ....
i like this vlog, it's so much fun, especially how you ask questions. nice to see that a lot of foreigners are here to study, although it's nothing new, but it looks like there's an influx of foreigners going here (and not just koreans) to complete their education. it's a testament that we should be proud of our teachers and educational system if we can attract students from abroad.
Very nice interview. I appreciate the response of our foreiner students. Thank you for featuring them. There are sevral good schools fot medicines in Metro Manila. Ýou may may explore vloggong in other schools and univrsiti
Thank you❤❤
