As you look back, the early '55 - '57 Chevy Bel Air's were one of a kind classic looking cars. The early Cayman 987's are destined to be the same, one of a kind classic looking cars.
Great video. Love my Cayman S 987. Best thing I ever did. Mine was a Porsche approved 1 owner used car. Only optional on mine is the sports exhaust. Friggin amazing car. Mines a weekender. Just ticked over 60,000 kilometres (~37,000 miles) and drives like new. Artic Silver.
Beautiful example. I have a 2011, 2.9 in white, with the black finish alloys. The interior is terracotta which I've never seen in a Cayman before. It's the best car I've ever driven and with just 25,000 miles, it's still a baby.
Nice video dude. I like what you have done to the car, looks great. I live in the uk and have a 2008 cayman s in silver i had the wheels refurbished in anthracite, got the same rear lights as yours added and got the carnewel exhaust. Was thinking of lowering on cayman r springs in the future. Such a great car i think just the right amount of power, its useable any more and the fun would be lost around the twisty roads.
I would have to agree these cars are amazing through the Mountains. Sometimes I would like just a bit more horsepower but I assume that would only get me in trouble LOL
Sounds interesting Lee..my 2006 S is Cobalt Blue...55k miles. Here in England too. Only done 400 miles all year😱. Sat in the garage on trickle charge. How did you manage to get the exhaust from Belgium?
@@derrickgreen9020 i love cobalt blue! Wow similar cars. I am on 56k. I’ve been at work every day so use it regular. Managed to get to Belgium last year during a window we could travel. I love everything about the car. From the perfect seating position to the bolt action rifle precision gearbox. Really needs a mod from stock exhaust to get more of that flat 6 sound out. What part of the country are you in?
@@leeengland1748 hello Mate..Northamptonshire. Do you follow Satch on TPN tv? He has the same Cayman as mine. If you do, I don’t suppose you won his free give away Boxster either😂.
Love it! I’ve been wanting to wrap my 987.1 white and you just sold me on that! I have the Carrera premium rims too and man I’ve never seen those in black. It looks perfect! You got good taste brother👍🏻
Wraps are for people too cheap to paint their car and to wrap such a fine machine even worse Leave a wrap on a little too long and your not going to be able to peel it off also sometimes they leave glue behind Why not just get into taking care of the paint properly
Why don’t you worry about your own car and less about mine. At the end of the day it’s just a piece of machinery that I enjoy driving. Now when we come to the topic of money I feel lucky to have what I have. I am currently undergoing chemo and trying to enjoy my life with the specialty cars I’ve been so fortunate to purchase. i’m sure this car community would agree with me when it comes to not saving this car for the next guy. This is my Porsche and I love it.
Beautiful car! Hope to own one myself some day.
Love the aftermarket LED tail lights too!

Great car, that white with black accents looks amazing! specially those wheels. Very nice video, short and sweet.
Nice! I have a 2006 987 myself. It's intoxicating to drive and the synergy between man/machine is phenomenal. Great vid!!
You had a good vision and it came out looking very good. Enjoy.

fantastic result, perfect description of road performances👍👌
Beautiful car. Nicely done video

A really well put together video. Great filming.
That looks great. Love the "Lobster Claws."
I have a 997.1 C2S, but I recently drove a 987 S and I really like it. Seriously considering adding one to the stable, yours looks beautiful
Best car I’ve ever owned hands-down
Great video!! Really digging your setup

beauty to my eyes !!! good car mate I have the same version
I think I'm in love.
Good look. Good sounds.
Sooo freaking nice!
Nice video..thinking on buying one.
Black lobster claws. = OUCH
The exhaust sound is nice, is it genuine? Or if it's a foreign product, which manufacturer is it?
Very nice, what front lip do you have on there?
Joe Toth

Thank you 😊
Maravilloso 👍
Can you tell me again, what kind of exhaust you purchased for the car? It sounds wonderful.
Tubi exhaust
I traded my 996 TT for the Cayman S 2006 for the fun factor. How is the Tubi exhaust?
Probably the best sounding exhaust on any cayman 🤓
hello, congratulations for the video and for the car. Where can I find the rear lights? thanks
I am unsure, they came with the car when I bought it.
Hey, mind sharing which front lip/splitter that is? Looks like maybe the 3pc Joe Toth?
It is a 1pc Joe Toth
No where near 2k for a new headunit, all you need is the IX-PR004 harness to fit and aftermarket radio.
Cool… good to know. Ty
i have owned corvettes, vipers, porsche 928S4,none even come close to the driving experience of my Cayman S,not even close.
They actually make a new headunit at the factory for this car, touchscreen with apple car play and android auto
How much would something like this sell for? I want a similar spec 987
Close to 30k
any bore scoring issue?
👍
I like these but it’s sad the performance aftermarket is poop. Beautiful and fun car either way but I wouldn’t pay big dollars for one.
So what's the difference between this and the gts?
n/a gts or turbocharged gts?
I have one and i just put turbo on it
Mr Salvo should have kept the Porsche that Ferrari is giving you stress
What’s the owners channel please
I am the owner
