Konami should really make an old school mode in Master Duel. Maybe they are afraid of the meta getting less attention then, but I think that giving old school Yu-Gi-Oh more attention, will bring a lot more players in and will keep the game fresh. Old school Yu-Gi-Oh is really trending atm, it's the perfect time for it. Would be awesome!!
Although many of us want it it will be massively counter productive. It's quite possible "old school" mod will just be the main bulk of gameplay and newer decks will just... have absolutely no draw. Eventually this will hurt sales, tournament scene everything. Why would they risk destroying their income economy by giving easy and regulated access to an older, arguably better version of the game they are trying to move forward in order to stay profitable? I don't think this will ever happen, unless not until modern YuGiOh finally dies.
Best way is to make a limited time event for Goat format. Nostalgia bait, but make everyone have to play solo mode first to introduce new mechanics and get gems. When event is over, some will be hooked but they’ll have to play current format, so incentive to buy new cards is there.
@@GalloglaochReally shows what the problem currently in the game is, yet they make new stupid cards that is spell card, trap card, negate, quick effect, monster in one card
Video Starts with Sam Holding a Scrap-Iron Scarecrow. Wasn't that Released in 5D's era? Just Confirmed - Released in Starter Deck 5D's August 5th 2008.
Can't wait till they add a Mode that limits cards to anything up to 2004 classic Yu GI oh needs a come back, it may shock you but I actually enjoy playing after my opponent goes first
What a win with the original time wizard btw I really love the way your holograph for Yu-Gi-Oh appear with their own presence and approach on screen. Nice man
I remember when pegasus link summoned Relinquished Anima and when pegasus attacked yugi he played scrap iron scarecrow. By far the most hype moment in yugioh season 1.
Celtic Guardian is my dude too but give me the Obnoxious one. I miss playing my Warrior deck. Had monsters with attack under 1400 or had them under 3 stars to attack over Messenger of Peace and Gravity Bind. Then had the equip cards to power them up. Had a warrior for every situation.
Back in the old days I was that kid that had gotten ahold of three starter decks, flooded the board with Blue-Eyes White Dragons from Flute of Summoning Dragon and got bodied by Dragon Capture Jar.
My og print toon world clasic work and toon blue eyes. As an artist they were always my main deck. Swords of revealing light is still soooo good and mirror force 😂 i have made a set of glowing swords of revealing light 😁 good to see the OG cards again. Right in the child hood feels 😂😂 stay golden sam and crew ✌🏻
Most nostalgic card in my collection is Invitation to a Dark Sleep. I used to stare at that monster all day during middle school to try and find ways to beat my opponents with him.
Honestly, yeah. Maybe up to the synchro or xyz era. A whole prog series up to current day would be very long and may be too much all at once since that’s a lot of cards to learn
Sphinx Teleia, Theinen the Great Sphinx, Andro Sphinx and Pyramid of light. these were the boss monsters I use to play when I was only a kid and I still have them today! I hope they count as nostalgic cards as I'm sure there not 2002... but they will always be my favourite.
Old style OG SERIES cards… The nostalgia I’m enjoying seeing these cards again… Fave will always be BARREL DRAGON!! I know it’s effects aren’t good, but a mechanical dragon with 3 canons!? HELL TO THE YEAH!!!
At the 20:38 mark he called it wasn't marshmallon. Proceeds to attack a monster just set which he had no idea. And doesn't attack till gamble on the time wizard.
Favorite old school card I own is a secret rare Yata-Garatsu from LOTD (not first ED). It was from a family member that used to own a card shop, he recently died on Tuesday in car accident.
My favorite deck of all time since I was a child is Toon cards. I’ve fought tooth and nail to try and make it competitively viable so I can actually play it, but the highest tier I’m able to get is Plat with a Red-eyes, Dark Magician, Hermos + Critias Toon Deck, and even then running a max-card deck makes it easier to get bricked. I just want to be able to actually play the decks I like, especially because so much has changed since I first played in the later 2000’s :( - it is fun to play the deck, but having to rely on Mirror Force Dragon as one of my main powerhouses feels so cheese, especially when they immediately surrender if they don’t have a negate.
Since Konami updated the terms for tournaments the position of scrap iron scarecrow actually is not public knowledge once the turn changes after it's been flipped placed down
Black luster soldier for me bro. I still remember my first rival duel way back, used change of heart on my boys blue-eyes and he had dragon capture jar set. I played Black luster ritual and swung for game. Lol been friends ever since
Me watching this while playing Master Duels regretting letting my opponent go first. It’s been what feels like an eternity and yet to take my first turn.
I've always loved Cyber Dragons. I have a Cyber Dragon deck irl but it isn't quite finished yet. and I've had it way before link monsters became a thing! I'm just missing the Cyber Nova Dragon and Cyber Dragon Infinity, Power Bond, etc etc.
I remember my childhood deck, I called it card destruction cus I'd use card destruction graceful charity, and pot of greed to search out blue eyes ultimate material but half the time id deck out my opponent. That was the first year before they had ban lists though; the game was so new that ppl were still using dark hole to pop cyber jar the turn they set it rofl...
I was born in 2002 and Yu-Gi-Oh! changed my life and I’m so happy I’m back playing it i first played it in anime club in middle school and the classic artwork is much more special in my opinion
Barrel dragon is underrated and one of my favorite besides the popular ones, another overpowered normal summoned card is sengenjin, i'm surprised why the heck no one ever used that.
Equip has to be Horn of The Unicorn, Spell I'm general probably upstart goblin, trap definitely reinforcements, monster card probably Firewing Pegasus was my go to.
Yu gi oh de antes era divertido, ya que las cartas peleaban al usarse atk y def, y trampas en momentos divertidos para molestar al rival. El de ahora es pelea de efectos, y spameo de cartas en la primera mano 😢

Absolutely agree

TBH goat format will get boring you just set pass and draw untill someone gets a bigh attack monstor also jam exodia in any deck
Oh man pegasus link summoning relinquished and then link climbing to access code talker was my favorite OG duel in Yugioh!
Sam: 2002 cards only
Also Sam: Scrapiron Scarecrow in his opening hand
Well fuslie has it too, plus fuslie is using link monsters so compared to that scarecrow is old af from synchro era
Bro fuslie has access code talker in her extra deck 9:45
@@johnvuu4679
Incredible
Fuslie is playing the tuner monster "Maiden with eyes of Blue"
I'm pretty sure Tuner Monsters didn't exist until 5DS
Sam cheated. Scrap iron is not from 2002
Video Starts with Sam Holding a Scrap-Iron Scarecrow. Wasn't that Released in 5D's era? Just Confirmed - Released in Starter Deck 5D's August 5th 2008.
The OTK is just too perfect man 😂😂😂
Your.... Right 😂😂😂
Did not expect Fuslie to get OTKed by a monster NO ONE played even in its heyday. Respect to Armed Samurai Ben Kei.
Bro, Ben-Kei OTK was a deck back in the day.
people did play it lol
Nobody knew the card
Back in the day
Fuslie making up her own move names is my favourite 😂
These collabs need to happen more often. You two are so fun.
18:49 “are you sure this is nostalgia?”
LINK SUMMONING ISN’T NOSTALGIA?!
honestly, nothing beats the nostalgia of running three ordeals of the traveler and watching my friends mald over their boss monster getting sent away.
Her attack shouts are everything 😂😂
Summoned Skull always has a special place in my heart. Would be cool if there was a deck for him.
He's better than Dark Magician but since he's Yugi's ace he gets all the support. The Archfiend archetype is where Summoned Skull landed smh
There’s zombie deck for him
These "old school" duels are still my favorites 😊 childhood memories, recognizable monsters, and magic/trap cards, just awesome 👌
Skull Red bird was my first Yu-Gi-Oh card, serpent night dragon was my rarest pull, & mascot card on the playground.
I still have it 😌
link relinquished HAS to be one of the MOST OG cards ever Kappa
I never thought I’d hear someone try and explain what a “blunder” is to someone else who claims to have never heard it.
Can't wait till they add a Mode that limits cards to anything up to 2004 classic Yu GI oh needs a come back, it may shock you but I actually enjoy playing after my opponent goes first
If they release that mode, most players will migrate. Would be fresh air
@@Carlos.Rivera for sure glad someone else gets it
It's not official but there is the goat format.
@Carlos Rivera "Most players would migrate" Yeah bro, set and pass for 30 turns is so much fun💀
@@RollinsFN yeah bro, waiting 30min for someone who are playing solitary and scoop because you wiped the board with troll deck or kaiju
What a win with the original time wizard btw I really love the way your holograph for Yu-Gi-Oh appear with their own presence and approach on screen. Nice man
Sam saying what is Blunder and saying I just say I F'd up is so Sam lol
Amazing duo, I swear old Yugioh seems way more fun than modern
17:58 Most Big brain play ever
I wonder how many times Sam will get away with playing "giltia" xD
I don’t have it anymore, but Gem-Knight Pearl was my favorite card growing up.
I remember when pegasus link summoned Relinquished Anima and when pegasus attacked yugi he played scrap iron scarecrow. By far the most hype moment in yugioh season 1.
When magic jammer gets to pop off, it’s such an underrated card. Runicks suffer from this card.
I love nostalgic cards on MasterDuel. I have at least three original decks from the TV show.
The moment he learned what blunder was
Celtic Guardian is my dude too but give me the Obnoxious one.
I miss playing my Warrior deck. Had monsters with attack under 1400 or had them under 3 stars to attack over Messenger of Peace and Gravity Bind. Then had the equip cards to power them up. Had a warrior for every situation.
Just search for edopro, they got classic mode there ( goat format )
Back in the old days I was that kid that had gotten ahold of three starter decks, flooded the board with Blue-Eyes White Dragons from Flute of Summoning Dragon and got bodied by Dragon Capture Jar.

Most nostalgic card in my collection is Invitation to a Dark Sleep. I used to stare at that monster all day during middle school to try and find ways to beat my opponents with him.
Now this is a real duel much more fun to watch please do more ❤
man i wish this was an actual game mode aside from tag duels which i also hope they'll add
compulsory evacuation device was my favorite card back in the day. ran 3 in my deck, and bounced the boss monster my friends played all the time. :D
A prog series with flusie would be 🔥
Honestly, yeah. Maybe up to the synchro or xyz era. A whole prog series up to current day would be very long and may be too much all at once since that’s a lot of cards to learn
They need to bring in an old school format for duels.
The most iconic card from 2002, scarecrow 😂😂😂
Sphinx Teleia, Theinen the Great Sphinx, Andro Sphinx and Pyramid of light. these were the boss monsters I use to play when I was only a kid and I still have them today! I hope they count as nostalgic cards as I'm sure there not 2002... but they will always be my favourite.
16:40 LOL the YuGiOh that I remember as a kid doesn't even have that space on the battlefield. Flavor fail
Sam uses Ash Blossom: You didn't use that during your childhood? We all had it
The Red-Eyes Black Dragon from Starter Deck Joey is my most nostalgic Yu-Gi-Oh! card
Ahh yes the beer pong champion
oh that's the guitar girl
Your jokes and editor are great first three minutes in I’m dying
Old style OG SERIES cards…
The nostalgia I’m enjoying seeing these cards again…
Fave will always be BARREL DRAGON!!
I know it’s effects aren’t good, but a mechanical dragon with 3 canons!? HELL TO THE YEAH!!!
I haven't watched this yet, but I bet Fuslie plays Maiden with Eyes of Blue even though it's supposed to be nostalgic.
I would love to see a guardian eatos/dreadscythe deck with old and more recent cards. I’m currently trying to work on one just for nostalgia and fun.
At the 20:38 mark he called it wasn't marshmallon. Proceeds to attack a monster just set which he had no idea. And doesn't attack till gamble on the time wizard.
That first duel made me lol
Scrapiorn scarecrow isn't really suppose to be in the deck due to it being used in 5ds
and links are ok?
@@milanjovic9769 Nope, links also aren't supposed to be there. The title is very misleading too
@@milanjovic9769 idk why they would run link monsters if this is suppose to be old school

That was definitly the old school version of giltia the d knight 😂
OOOMG HAHAHA THAT was awesome!!! 😹 it feel like old school

Since Konami updated the terms for tournaments the position of scrap iron scarecrow actually is not public knowledge once the turn changes after it's been flipped placed down
This is the second time you’ve done this sam 😂 the Gilitia you need is the fusion type card 😂😂
Black luster soldier for me bro. I still remember my first rival duel way back, used change of heart on my boys blue-eyes and he had dragon capture jar set. I played Black luster ritual and swung for game. Lol been friends ever since

4:13 scary red hand with blue ghost face in background
My OG Spirit Charmer Cards. They will always be my favorite archetype.
My nostalgic card is a normal monster, a warrior. The man, the myth, the legend...Kojikocy !!!

marshmallon only activates its flip effect if it is attacked, you cant flip summon it and make it do 1k damage
I love that Sam just plays the best of the best any chance he gets
I couldn’t help to see that it went for 44 turns man it was fun to watch though!!
yoo remember when Yugi acrtivated Scrap-iron Scarecrow against Mokuba's Sector security deck
Celtic Guardian and Time Wizard were my favourite ❤
Nostalgic deck Sam says. Proceeds to otk with Ben Kei lol
1st Start Deck Yu Gi, Original Dark Magician Nostalgia
the nostalgia of playing tag force 4 and yusei having 2 fucking scrap iron scarecrows on his field.
Thousand Dragon and Maha Vailo have a special place in my heart❤️
That was a badass come back win
Great Duel! 🔥
This duel was awesome 👏🏽
The only video I’m waiting for ❤
Anime Season 1 cards were LoB, Metal Raiders, Spell Ruler and Pharoah's Servant.
ahh the good old days with benkei was alot of fun^^
last will + sangan/ witch crash most nostalgic combo🥹
I love the seal of oricalcos it’s terrible today but it’s amazing and I run it in some decks for fun
Sam just toyed with her all match 😂😂
Episode 44 - Okay I believe you
Im playing a mix of poker and 1998 to 2004 yugioh cards, a full free for all 6 people table, is crazy
You should make a Celtics guardian master duel deck! Love seeing that card play.
man eater bug is definitely the one I remember from childhood
Yu gi oh de antes era divertido, ya que las cartas peleaban al usarse atk y def, y trampas en momentos divertidos para molestar al rival. El de ahora es pelea de efectos, y spameo de cartas en la primera mano 😢
Most nostalgic gotta be the kuriboh
HAHA nostalgia deck and Leslie summons a link monster
Seal of Orichalcos is my nostalgia....
Fuslie is really at bluffing that Sam literally gets bluff by his own😁
My nostalgic Yu-Gi-Oh card has to be Man-Eater Bug and Dark Magician.
My favorite old school card is toon world. I loved the art
really love this series
For me it’s definitely Odd-Eyes pendulum dragon. Odd-Eyes was my first deck
0:05 nope never tear best deck lets goo
